George Foreman by a stoppage. Alot of people would have picked Ruddock at the time. Razor did have a quickness advantage but I doubt he would have been able to use to intelligently. Foreman was stronger, smarter with more experience but most importantly he was a two handed threat who could set that power up behind his jab. When George does hurt Ruddock he'll finish him because Razor cant lay on and smother Foreman. Foreman TKO5
Similar to the Alex Stewart v Foreman fight imo. Ruddock going down early but getting up to slug it out. Foreman s face would be battered and bruised. George would get the tightest of decision wins.
Disagree with the general view that Foreman would win this fight,Ruddocks power would get to a slow George forcing the referee to stop the fight late on to save him from further punishment
George's jab would not miss this target. tko6 And the anemic punch output and lack of ring intelligence are an awful lot to give up with an opponent of this caliber.
Foreman was way too smart to ever fight Ruddock. The Ruddock that fought Tyson twice was a beast. He matched Foreman in height and reach. He was much faster, physically very strong , he took a very good punch and had monster power. I see him stopping Foreman.
The problem with this is that Alex Stewart got up 2x from knockdowns but had ring presence to change his strategy and box. He started to move and fight intelligently. His jab was the key. Razor is gonna stand in front of Foreman and say 'hey George he comes by left uppercut!' Say what you want about Foreman he had skills. If you telegraph your punches like that Foreman will knock your brains loose.
Foreman wanted no part of Tyson and I suspect would have wanted no part of Ruddock as well. Never the same after the second Tyson fight but I think he would have given George multiple problems. Foreman would have had to be on his A Game to have held of Ruddock.
I'll say this for Ruddock cause I was a fan of his. He has guts, he would fight anyone and he was a warrior when the punches started flying. It was frustrating to watch him regress as a boxer when he got to the top level. I would give the green version of Razor a much better chance to survive Foreman.
You’re the one with a vivid imagination if you think Ruddock was even relevant when he fought Morrison. Stewart, on the other hand, was a chinless wonder who “coincidentally” turned in a career best performance against Foreman.
