    Maldonado leaving gaps when he punctuates exchanges with the right hook. Rivera has already clipped him a few times punching with him. If he delays execution on that last counter another half second and really sits down on it, Fidel gets laid out.

    Fun competitive battle so far but somebody is going to sleep before too long. (probably Maldonado, unless Rivera's packing below-average to glass)

    Yep. Given that Rivera tends to stay pretty composed in there, and counters well, I could see him matching up better with Giron in terms of style than Balderas did.
