Aust referee standard is terrible at the moment. Les Fear performance in the Opetia vs Flanagan fight was borderline sadistic and John Cauchi who referee Horn vs Zerafa referee is awaiting another Davey Browne like tragedy in the making with his style of refereeing.
What good refs do we have left? Should they bring in an international ref to give some sort of neutrality? Does Phil "Gomer Pyle" Austin need to be brought in to restore sanity?
They brought in American Frank Garza for Mundine vs Green rematch and he was pathetic. But a strong international referee would seem the best option. Let's hope they don't skip on budget on this.
The referee is probably the most important factor in this fight I have no idea how much a competent ref charges but would be a wise investment for team Tszyu to concider will be interesting when we find out

Yep glad someone else is on the same page as me. The Referee is key in this fight and will make a huge difference. $25K plus expenses if I'm team Tszyu I pay it get Kenny Bayless or Jack Reiss to keep Horn inline and make it a fair fight.
Yeah looks like it,which is 1 of many reasons why the fight is only 10 rounds,that last fight Tszyu won which was his 1st ever 12 round fight was for a regional IBF title fight from memory. There is no reason that this fight was ever going to be 12 rounds and most of those complaining in here should know better
Anybody defending this being only a 10 rounder is a Horn fan boy. Conning the public in to paying $60 PPV and only fighting 10 rounds.
People have been paying to watch Tszyu fight against fighters outside the top 100 and now a couple of clueless morons are complaining and getting there excuses ready from every angle including baseless accusations about so called corruption,the quality of referee and about the amount of rounds. Ultimately you will here all of these when Horn wins as well as of course the excuse about him being underprepared and Horn using illegal tactics.
