Not sure Canelo's $35m a fight leaves that much left in the pot tbh. And they're nowhere near as big as Amir Khan over there so you can probably halve what he got against Canelo.

The loser of Smith v Saunders blows a Canelo fight imo so they would both want serious money to face each other.

I think the main reason they both want the Canelo fight is that it will pay slightly more and whoever loses to Canelo still has the domestic Anfield showdown to fall back on.

See, I don't think Smith-Saunders is as big as either of those two think it is. I suspect Hearn himself probably does know that though. We'll see how it pans out. Suspect we get Canelo-Saunders

The version of Smith who fought Ryder loses fairly easily to Canelo IMO, but maybe it was just a bad night. Thought he looked great in his previous few fights before that. Would like him to fight either Canelo or at least one of the other SMW title holders next and unify - beyond frustrating that there are 4 undefeated title holders and none faced each other yet.

Believing in yourself is fine but it’s that lack of acknowledgement of how awful he was in his last match against Ryder that irritates me.

At light heavy he’d win. At super middle he’s done, he has to move up. It was glaringly obvious when he lost against Ryder. It’s crazy how long he’s managed to stay at 12 stone for anyway. If he stays at Super middle the only fight I’m interested in at the moment is the Ryder rematch.... which won’t happnen.

I'm fed up with the lanky **** Smith. Canelo would beat him like a dam dog, fold the tall c*** like a deck chair.

Please tell me a boxer, a World Champion, that's come out and said "yeah, I lost that last fight!" F**king hell man, it's not Smith's fault that the judges scored it for him, is he meant to act all shy and unconfident now, is that really how a World Champion thinks? If I was Smith I'd push for this fight at 175bs, if the weight bully is happy taking on Kovalev at 175lbs let's see the Clen boy in with a 168er going up to 175lbs who really wants the fight. At 175lbs Smith would be too much for him.
