Twelve rounds both in there formidable primes I personally see this being a hard fought fight for Sahsa with him ultimately coming out on top with his iron chin to thank.

I may be being bias as of recent times as Alexander is my favorite fighter of the modern crop.

Golota seemed to find a way of losing all of his biggest fights. I see no reason for otherwise here.

Very true, but do you see Povetkin being a bigger fight than Bowe? Golota man handled Bowe, as you said he screwed both those fights up. If some way he managed to keep it clean then who knows he may get the win.

A good one, would be an all out war Poland vs Russia. Povetkin great all round technical boxer, with a great chin, tough and a big heart but cuts easy. Golota also technically sound, good jab when he decides to use it, strong as an ox and likes to bully, height & reach advantage, punch power not represented by his size and sometimes showed a suspect chin.
Tough one to pick especially as Golota at his peak was not inconsistent but unpredictable. He could have the fight of his life and dominate or just get up and walk home after two rounds. I think with the Polish fans in this one cheering on Polska against mother Russia it brings out the best in Golota. Winning a split decision or a late stoppage due to cuts, controversial as Golota is wobbled a few times in a couple of rounds.

I like the uppercuts from Povetkin to land clean on that defense. tko stoppage 2nd half of the fight

Two of my favorite fighters. So many times I asked myself the same question "who would win this one"?
I've watched pretty much all of their fights. Povetkin technically better fighter. Golota with his massive build didn't have that punching power that you would expect from a big guy like that, great jab though. I would favor povetkin, seeing how he dominated technically joshua for 5-6 rounds.
