This would be an awesome fight & id bet Mayweather still got enough in the tank & could still school him.

Big money fight not as big as a Canelo fight but I don’t think Canelo would fight Below 160lb anymore.

Mayweather vs Golovkin could be bigger then canelo vs GGG 3

& I believe Mayweather could offer GGG his richest purse ever to lure him down to a 155lb fight.

knowing Mayweather it wil probably be Pac-Man 2 or McGregor 2.
But man mayweather vs GGG would be a super fight for boxing.

I’d say if it happened at 155lb Mayweather UD 9-3 or 8-4 kinda night.

He couldn't even land anything big on Canelo.

He's also not out boxing the master boxer.

Maybe 5 years ago but today it doesn't make any sense for money grabweather who is currently trying to drag Khabib into a boxing ring.
Golovkin would get absolutely schooled and probably wouldn't even try after counting that check. He would just lose , fly back to the Soviet Union and party with Borat and Putin.

Canelo was juiced to the gills and throwing heavy bombs. GGG wrecked him with jabs and hooks and won easily.

GGG would hurt Floyd badly with jabs and he'd have zero fear of Floyd's counters.

GGG by KO if he's not badly drained.

    Ignorant numb nuts.

Right now? I'm going to pick the active pro over the retired pro who hasn't had a serious fight for years. Although getting down to 155 would take its toll so that may well counter act my previous statement.

When Mayweather was active though I'm taking him by decision.

Yeah, a 43 year plus fighter is going to beat the top middleweight?
What's next Mike Tyson Koing Tyson Fury?

    Fighters get old.
Mayweather leaves the ring on a stretcher.

that’s what makes it interesting I know people don’t like catch weights.
But it makes things interesting sometimes.

    Especially this scenario.
With a all time great who is aging & hasn’t had a serious bout in awhile.
& a search & destroy type who is also aging & boiling down to a weight he is not used to fighting in.

makes it more compelling & debatable to just who might take it.

GGG would walk through Floyd’s feather fisted shots like he did Kell Brooke, a bigger puncher than Floyd ever was, bully him and take him out. Floyd would run and pot shot but I think GGG would catch him eventually and punish his body. Too big and strong for Money. Floyd is a better fighter except for power but he would have been foolish to fight a prime MW. Floyd was a lot of things but he wasn’t foolish.

Same is true for Hulk Canelo. Assuming there is no hydration clause in play, today’s version of Canelo would be a much tougher fight for the Floyd who beat him. Forget about 40+ Floyd, I hope he stays retired or at least fights an old guy if he comes back.

Did Floyd ever fight a much bigger guy who wasn’t drained? Canelo was drained and a bit green for his fight. Floyd refused to fight Winky Wright because winky wouldn’t agree to a max rehydration clause. Floyd was smart. Size matters.

Yeah ...well on cinco de Mayweather @
155lb do you think money may still got enough left to keep GGG off of him & get the decision?

because ggg ain’t too young either & boiling down to 155lb makes it interesting.
So I think it would be doable for Floyd to get the W.
Of course he could get caught & decapitated. But I don’t think so with the 155lb caveat!

not the GGG that fought Brook that guy was still a monster I’m talking about this older version who got hurt to the body by dervenchenko & @ 155lbs

still might KO old floyd but the catch weight would make it interesting.
