I'd say he would have to be feeling confident. Tyson Fury can outbox him but he has the one biggest difference-maker. We saw what he can do in the first fight, Fury showed great heart to get up but I just wonder if it happens again. Maybe Wilder is having a good wank over the thought of finishing off Fury this time.
Probably Joey Abell or Steve Cunningham. He's really not a heavy lights out kind of puncher. But he can hurt people with his shots, and his punches certainly have a cumulative effect on opponents over the course of a fight.
It's rarely brought up at HW at all, yet people lose their chit when someone come in over a couple of pounds in the lower divisions. Real sense of cognitive dissonance at work there.
Fury's style is not made for knockouts hence why I think he's joined the Kronk gym. What made Fury less of a knockout artist is that he puts more energy into his footwork and skills and doesn't really load up on his punches
If Wilder has learnt from the first fight, he'll be fine. Wilder had an off night but was still able to put Fury down twice. I still can't pick a winner in this one as there are so many different scenarios which could unfurl. I'm worried aboutt Fury coming in heavier and would be surprised with a quick Wilder KO.
Really excited about this fight and like them both.Fury'personality and Wilder's power are both great for boxing.Thought the first fight really put the heavyweights back on the map..I watched the first one last night and I thought Fury won it by a slight margin but those Wilder knockdowns were brutal.What really surprised me was Fury's recoveries from them. Especially the 12th round and Fury did stun him a few times like at the end of the 1st.The more adressive and stronger and more fit Fury in this next one could be trouble for Wilder but with Wilder's equalizer ya never know.Wilders defense surprised me in that one too.He was able to block more shots than I remember but Fury's is a bit better..That's what makes this fight so exciting.In the end I hope both walk away healthy..my 2 cents.
I deal with reality, the fight was draw, you can make up results and formulate a paradigm in which your fictional view is reality, but it makes you psychotic. All the best...
No way Wilder thinks he lost that fight. If anything he can be filthy at the judges after the last one, but he seems pretty relaxed and knows how this is going to go down. Being called a draw is an absolute farce. If anything Wilder will be more determined to take it out of the hands of the judges. I think Fury going to sugar hill maybe deep down he knows he lost and got a gift of a draw. Wilder has looked pretty relaxed at the pressers so far. PS: I dislike both fighters and can't work out which I hate more, but I thought Wilder was pretty hard done by not getting that win. My dislike for them is based on their personality and the bull**** they both talk, and how they both try and re-spin reality to their own narrative.
yeah initially I thought that too but checked the odds in Australia (where I live) and Fury is indeed the favourite.
I get the feeling that the man who was knocked unconscious in the first fight and had his face torn to shreds in his last fight will be the one with confidence issues.
