He represented himself well vs Gary Russell and still young. What's his upside?

    Future champion?

The answer is yes, he's got all of the tools to make a very good champ.

Yes he's a good fighter and will get better and will win a belt one day.

I can't stand GRJ but the horse-toothed massive melon head leprechaun is clearly a very talented fighter and the best at 126 IMO. Tug just gave him a real tough nights work and pushed him close so I won't be in the least bit surprised if he goes on to pick up a world title in the future.

He definitely is one. He has excellent technique. Quite smart and composed as well. Also has good attitude as well.

Soon the the current champions, such as Russell Jr. and Stevenson, will move up and there is not really strong competition in featherweight overall.

I believe so, still fairly young and took on Gary Russell Jr with very few fights and had success. I'd confidently pick him to beat Can Xu, he has a great chance against Warrington & in a few fights could beat Russel in a rematch.

I don't see why not, except for clock ticking because he is already over thirty.

Yea for sure, he has talent, amateur pedigree and i was impressed with his chin.
I honestly think he could have won if it weren't for the lay off, GRJ is used to fighting once a year unlike Tug.

He could pick a belt under the right circumstances but he'll never rule a weight class.
