Is Jeff Horn Too Big A Step Up For Tim Tszyu???

When you've had your ass kicked and gotten stopped by Mike Zerafa, you no longer have my full confidence - I don't care what you do in a rematch.

 

Certainly not a step up in class as Horn's boxing skills are rubbish but Tszyu Jnr better be prepared to get non stop fouled repeatedly and have to fight the referee at the same time if the fight is in Brisbane

 

Who has Jeff Horn beaten (not counting robberies)???

Only elite opponents he fought was Pac (who I believe he lost to) and Crawford (who murdered him)
His best wins are Michael who and a 50 year old Mundine

 

Plotnikov, Mueller, El Mousaoui, shot Ben Rabah, shot Bailey, and shot Funeka. Not the most amazing competition but he does have a couple of halfway decent scalps.

 

Yep and needed plenty of help from the referee to win the rematch with Michael Zerafa.

 

Yeah, it is a big step up. but maybe Tszyu is up to it?
If he can beat Horn he will be looked at as world-class. How many fighters toil away for years and never get a shot like this.

Tszyu is ready for the overated head butting Horn who should have been stopped in his last fight and got knocked out before that the only concern for Tszyu is the ref and officials as proven in the past team horndog have deep pockets and heavy influence in Australia

 

It's obviously a massive step up from the level Tszyu has faced and i feel this fight should have been delayed till end of the year when there could have been bigger implications for the winner.
Horn obv has his limitations but I think he is dangerous enough,especially moving back down a division for the talented but untested Tszyu.

 

Yes - but, Tszyu is another Aussie with his dad being arguably the top Aussie boxer of the past 25 years. So I don't think Horn will get the type of favours he got against Pac, for example.

 

The truthful answer is no-one really knows. That's why it's a good fight.

Horn fading badly twice against Zerafa is a big concern. It's the reason they only want a 10-rounder irrespective of how they spin it.

Tszyu's wins over Joel Camilleri & Dwight Ritchie (RIP) were good performances & have been supplemented with world class sparring last year. Camilleri was physically strong & awkward. Ritchie was fast & skilful.

Up in Brisbane, I think Horndog at his best would have too much. He's going to have to do for 10-rounds what he could only do for 7 last start though. If the arse falls out of Horndog in the late rounds again, Junior Tszyu will hammer him.

 

It's has potential to be a great fight I believe the determination and will of Tszyu will break Horn he has that struck Russia discipline and wants it more Horn has lost the hunger he said himself he has to try to get the hunger he had before the Manny fight

 

I don't think they will try and screw Tszyu, potentially he'll be a big money spinner for Aussie boxing, as you said he already has the name value.

 

You're underestimating the stupidity of Australian boxing officials.

State boxing officials have a long sorry history of putting the petty interests of their own states ahead of the national interest.

Junior Tszyu will get no favours in Queensland. None.

He either wins well or he doesn't win.
