What about Callum Johnson? I'm sure he didn't have visions of fighting for his world title at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago against a Russian on a tin pot streaming channel. What a stupid post about Yarde. He was happy enough to turn back a hefty step aside fee to face Kovalev. One things for sure, he made much more than Johnson, since you are into financials.
Maybe not at the start but I’d not put my house on it that Frank pays more, however at top level I’d defo put my house on it. I’d have to clear it with the bank first though as still got a mortgage.
That’s because years ago this forum wouldn’t let you post the words Frank or Warren, so he became fish eyes, for obvious reasons.
Ok. I’m sure Callum Johnson had visions of himself not being built up to be a top fighter and then fighting in Chicago for the world title agains a Russian, on a tin pot streaming channel.
This is obviously why FW was eager to nail DDD on a five year deal, doesn’t want another one of his fighters leaving for EH... On a more serious note, never count him out, I think he was in a similarly bad position at one stage on Boxnation and clawed back a decent stable. Not sure what BT are gonna think of this but their eagerness to get the Fury/Wilder rematch shows they’re not just in boxing for the short term imo, which is a good thing.
BT want PPV numbers like sky get. They haven't had anything near it yet and are unlikely to for the foreseeable future.
