I mentioned Usyk because Usyk is a good example of a P4P skilled boxer, who had solid defence, parrying and reflexes... yet still gets tagged plenty. It just doesnt affect him as much as it does khan when he gets tagged throughout his career.

Definitely a glass chin thing and not a porous defense thing

And I dont know the origins of the poll and why those specific boxers were mentioned... but im going with the flow... I ranked the named fighters in terms of skill from the list provided... it doesnt mean they are in the same bracket.

Lomachenko and it's not even close. Fury and Khan dont belong anywhere near that list and im a big Khan fan. Crawford or Canelo(as much as I hate to say it) are 2nd and 3rd, either order acceptable. After them you got guys like Spence, Usyk, Tony Harrison(as skilled as anyone, might even have a case for top 3), Bivol, Linares(has a legit case for top 3 as well), Kell Brook, etc etc

Khan, in his prime, was an incredibly talented and highly skilled OFFENSIVE fighter. His defensive skill was weak AF. His chin is nowhere near as bad as people believe, his lack of defensive skill and overreliance on speed and offense put him in position to repeatedly get hit with big shots. He's one of my favorite fighters ever to watch, but defensively, he sucked dude.

    Loma
    Inoue
    *
    Fury
    *
    Khan

Can't see it any other way. The astricks represent guys. There's a good 10 for the first set, mainly being Crawford, Canelo, Usyk, Saunders ect. The second could be from 10-35 different fighter lmao. Khan ain't up there any more.

Fair points but Khan goes limp as soon as he is chinned... even once.. like I am so sure of my assessment id love to compare footage between him any many other boxers in how they deal with getting hit

ill never forget what breidis prescott did to khan

but ive seem many boxers .. take shots like that all day

was a good shot but my point is khan doesnt handle it as well as any other boxer he is in the bottom 1 per cent for boxers who can take a punch

all these mexican fighters that take KO blows one after the other continuously throughout a fight and still come forward...

Khan's chin is the boxing equivalent to clumped dirt. It crumbles on contact with anybody's hands.

What you can't question however, is his heart and speed. Don't give me chat about the Crawford fight either. He took a pelting from Maidana(which I'm surprised wasn't stopped) and always tried to get up when he was chinned by Garcia and Prescott. His speed was the main tool he used(obviously), but he had a good jab and smooth combos. Imo he was always better when he stuck and moved with single shots as it gave his opponents less opportunities. He didn't though, he fought tooth and nail which I admire.

He was incredibly talented, but it was more a physical phenom type talent than a technically perfect one. He doesn't belong on here imo.

A prime Ali was far harder to hit than Khan, he`s all over te place, all he has is fast feet no fundamentals at all. GGG is far more skilled than Khan is he`s just a lot slower, watch where GGG`s gloves are when he`s not punching and compare them with Khan`s.

Floyd was more skilled than Khan by a light year, and we would have seen if if they had fought.

The amount of punches he slipped against Wilder, Khan couldn`t slip punches at all he just ran away after throwing fast shots and clinched whenever a fighter got close, watch how Fury slipped on the ropes v Wilder and compare that to Khan getting caught constantly on the ropes v Maidana, a p4p puncher that could compare with Wilder would knock Khan out early he was wild as hell, that Prescot fight was pathetic.

Canelo was just adjusting to Khan`s speed and excessive movement, he was n`t getting tagged that much and adapting going to Khan`s body then feinted to the body coming with the right instead, Khan was out of his depth.
