Exactly. How anyone can look at what he did in the ring that night, and truthfully think he gave it his 100% best effort is beyond me.

I think you are confusing Chavez jr with Kova.

He will receive a brutal KO.

Everything that made him successful is gone with age and ring wear. Worst of all is his chin. Which moving up in weight will only expose it more . Some guy just don’t know when to retire and do something else. He will go from “The Krusher” to “Getting Krush”. He should look at a one time rivals of his , Stevenson, and retire.

Is that what you think, really? That this is just a big mix-up on my end? I have my doubts.

Why didn't Cotto put his foot on the gas?
Why didn't Golovkin put his foot on the gas?
Why didn't Jacobs put his foot on the gas?
Why didn't Kovalev put his foot on the gas?

Canelo haters are so dumb lol

Kova was doing good against Canelo before he got put to sleep.

Has anyone ever seen these 3 guys all in the same room together? I have my doubts.

For the record I think Canelo is a fantastic fighter. You know it is possible to think that, while also question the effort of one of their opponents? Or if I disagree with a single opinion of yours, do I automatically disagree with them all? is that how this works?

Ok. So you choose to believe that was the best possible effort Kov could've given. I disagree.

Absolutely. I just question your biased.

I just gave you four examples of fighters who fought more tentatively than normal against Canelo. Its undisputable.

-Cotto who is a fantastic body and aggressive fighter, against Canelo he was reduced to arm punching.
-Golovkin was also know for his body work, and his power punching, in both fights against Canelo he almost completely neglected the body attack and went from powe puncher KO artists to cautiously jabbing.
-Jacobs was known for also throwing power punches and bringing the fight to his oppoenents like he did with Golovkin but against Canelo is fought extremely cautious.
Kovalev was also known as a power puncher, and like Golovkin was reduced to jabbing.

But here you are with your tin foil hat, thinking you have it all figured out when you're showing YDKSAB.

Of course it likely was. If he would have opened up he was have gotten KTFO sooner. Look at round two when Kovalev through a couple punches with intention Canelo through his even harder and faster.

Bro, come on man.. When you're fighting a power puncher with faster hands and better timing, its very difficult to try and out slug him.

    lmao,
Kovalevs pathetic stamina which turns his chin to China worse than khans chin after 6 rounds, if they are evenly fought rounds.

kovalev quickly turns in to a bully that crumbles when he’s in a real match

Where is this infantile bully **** coming from? He's a boxer, who boxes until he finds an opening and then takes his opponent out, and wow... he KO'd a whole slew of opponents until he got with a guy that could smother and spoil until he gassed late and took him out. Isn't that how boxing works? Sometimes you just find a guy who can neutralize your strengths and exploit your weaknesses. That doesn't mean, oh he's getting his comeuppance. It means he lost a boxing match because he's got a few glaring flaws since he started hitting the bottle hard. If anything Kovalev's demons have bullied and destroyed him in the process.

Is everyone in the history of the sport that were KO artists all bullies? Or are you projecting something onto him because you want to paint this idiotic narrative? He's a drunk, he's old, his stamina isn't great, and he hasn't taken care of him, so it's catching up to him. It's as simple as that.

What? Are you offended by his pelvic thrust? Grow up, this is boxing, not a sport for over sensitive little girls, does everyone who does something brash in the ring have to carry the bully anchor around their neck for all of eternity? He was doing his job, consistently fighting guys his own size and beating their asses fair and square, until he fell apart physically, mentally and emotionally, nothing bullying about that whatsoever. Unless you want to say everyone in the history of the sport is a bully. After all, most guys who get into this sport have a secret desire to beat people up, otherwise, they probably wouldn't take up such a violent professional, so if you go there, it opens up the floodgates.

You know who I think is a bully? Andre Ward, he's an emotional terrorist who manipulates everything in his favor until he stacks the deck so high that every opponent he faces feel like they're up against 10 men when they go in the ring with him, because they are. He has the refs, judges, country, city, state behind him every time. Because he only fights in his backyard, because... you know, he needs that safety net.

So who is more of a bully, a guy who man's up and bravely goes to a fighter's hometown and is up against it in every way shape and form, or a guy who hides in Oakland, refusing to give an inch until he can finagle everything to go his way and then and only then will he agree to fight. If anything that sounds like a bully to me, and a cowardly one who lacks confidence he can win fair and square at that.

Just like Kovalev himself said:"only a fool would bet on Sergey Kovalev".
