Coming from the guy who recently tried to promote an embarrassment of a boxing match to Brits featuring a chubby Saudi YouTuber with no fighting skills whatsoever in the early hours of a working day. Warrants no response.

 

Honestly? I am considering that. 5am isn't for me. Wake up at 6 like a work day and it's easy to get footage these days.

 

Obviously him and Adam Smith disagree then because SKY were chasing that fight hard

He is just trolling,he knows it will cause uproar on forums and Youtube comments sections etc so is having a laugh with it

 

Also very easy to have it spoiled for you while you look for highlights.

This could be a dramatic classic of a heavyweight title fight, especially after the 12th round chaos last time. I think any boxing fan should be watching this live because it could feature a monumental moment that goes down in history. Could you imagine if one of them gets knocked spark out, setting up an AJ unification?

How can anyone consider missing that prospect live just to get a few hours extra sleep... Why not just take a small nap on Saturday evening?

 

He's not trolling. What he's trying to do is eliminate the competition. He's telling people not to stay up and buy the fight because they can watch the highlights in the morning instead. His IFL videos get a huge amount of hits and there'll be a lot of people sitting on the fence, contemplating whether or not to stay up. Eddie saying that is giving those people a nudge not to buy it and he knows this. It's dirty tactics but look, Eddie is a business man and a ruthless one at that.

Frank on the other hand is screwed. Warrington gone back to matchroom now and Eddie is really rubbing it in his face with those comments.

 

Fell asleep for Ruiz Joshua 1 and that was earlier! Can't do it anymore! Got fight spoilt by a twitter notification of a periscope stream of Ruiz winning press conference. Weird way to find out.

£25 no undercard worth bothering with and 5am ring walk.

Yeah I get you, there's nothing worse than staying up during an absolute borefest undercard and then falling asleep at the main event! Happened to me before.

I'm defo watching this live, will just sleep until 3am and set an alarm. Saw the first fight live and that 12th round was one of the greatest rounds I've seen and I'd have been gutted to watch that after knowing what was going to happen.

 

Pffft it could be on my mrs birthday just as they are bringing out the cake and I'd still be watching it!

 

Unfortunately I believe he is correct, especially here in the U.K.

I think the UK number will be awful if I'm honest, people I speak to daily and are huge boxing fans have already said they will "catch it in the morning".

The first fight had a couple of moments, they were great moments, one moment that will be replayed for many years to come (Fury getting up in the 12th) but the truth is.. it wasn't Hagler Hearns or Gatti Ward.

It was a frustrating watch for most of it with low punch outputs.

Also I don't think the undercard will be great either.

If it isn't a big live audience in the US then it will be a real shame, because it's a huge fight, both men are putting it on the line and giving boxing fans what they want.

 

Its difficult to gauge the numbers. Without knowing how BT box office has done previously I just don't know.
