I know it's funny and all that, but the Nichols punch didn't actually land.....

As for Wilder's chin. Clearly not elite, clearly not glass. Solid but crackable, I'd say....

I think that's fair. Solid but not amongst the best ever. Like most HWs, even good ones, he can be hurt.

Come on, people like you grasping at straws to find SOMETHING they can say to downplay this mans success and position in the heavy weight divison. Most heavy weight champions have been "Hurt" many times in the course of their fights. He was dropped pulling backwards earlier in his career ok it happens. Then you go back to sparring stories to support your argument. When the same guy you mentioned, "Haye" has gone on record to say that Wilder actually has a very good chin. He hit Wilder with some hayemakers and Wilder kept coming forward. Did you not here that?? If his chin is as horrible as some of you say how come big punchers like Stiverne of the first fight, Arreloa, Brezeale, or Ortiz couldn't drop him let alone knock him out. I really hopes he fights and knocks Whyte TFO. I'm sick of these UK fans thinking that the guy is some type of terminator in the division.

Wilder's jaw is great actually. I also expected him to go down based on those old amateur vids but so far, he has taken some hard punches and he was never knocked down. He has one of the greatest jaws in boxing, right after Wach and GGG.

I can see Fury stunning Wilder with a clean counter punch and having him flailing around like this at sometime in the fight. I think that is a big part of Fury's plan and the reason he went to Kronk because in the first fight he made Wilder miss a lot but didn't make him pay enough.

He was able to take punches from Fury, Ortiz (x2), Arreola and Stiverne. His chin is fine.

People insisting that he has a glass jaw AND has no skill are weird. Gimmicky punching power is not enough to save you from getting KO'd or at least stopped in the heavyweight division when youve had as many fights as him. At the very least he should have a couple knockdowns.

I don't think people realize just how hard men weighing over 200 lbs can punch. Even a C level fighter can rock you if he lands flush with all his body weight. The fact skilled large men like Fury and Ortiz couldn't even drop him doesnt prove his chin is granite but it certainly isn't "glass".

Yeah let's discuss an amateur fight from over a decade ago, sparring with a former world champion (who had nothing but praise for wilder), his brother getting stopped (i fail to see the relevance, care to explain? Muhammad Ali's brother was a horrible boxer), and a screen shot with no context from way earlier in his career that is hotly disputed as "evidence" he has a glass jaw.

You definitely come across as an objective poster with no agenda.

Have seen Wilder being clipped on the chin many times and be unfazzed, he comes back immediately. David Haye has confirmed this. His chin is pretty solid, better than Joshua's for sure which is why Joshua has not accepted the fight.

I think the term “glass/china chin” is thrown away WAY too much tbh. It’s like, you either have a chin of pure granite or pure glass, there is no in between. That’s not how it works, especially at HW.

Everyone can be dropped or hurt, more so at the higher weights. Froch was dropped by Taylor, a natural MW with a staggering zero KO wins in title fights. So, Froch must have a glass chin, right?

I don't think his chin is better than Joshua's. Eric Molina hurt him twice, Harold Sconiers knocked him down hard

Decent enough set of whiskers but not granite by any means. Imagine that uppercut Joshua landed on Wlad hits Wilder.... He wouldn't get up!!
