I’d say he gets buzzed way too easy but has good fighters instincts when it happens, The trouble will come when he faces a genuine finisher who buzzed him then won’t go crazy chasing the KO punch but will stay calm and pick him apart. Not pure China but cheap porcelain at best.
I'd say below average by the standards of world title holders. Wilder just has not fought any punchers in their prime who can box. One TKO loss by a guy like Fury, and his stock becomes ENRON. I see Fury UD, but I would not rule out TKO.
On very good chins at heavyweight are rare. However, there are many boxers with solid chins, guys don't get buzzed/floored by nobodies or non-puncher types, and Wilder isn't among that group. He's a tier level down from solid chins.
How many losses do you have? None Because you aint fought nobody just like Wilder Oh wait... he fought Fury and lost
Its 4 out of 10. And when Wilder fanboys will stop making Ortiz some kind of a monster pls ? This 60 years old granddaddy, who best win is who exactly? Best Ortiz KO is against Jennings, who is average at best, this is his best win as well. And he couldn`t KO Malik Scott and Hammer .... Yeah such a vicious puncher is Ortiz .... The first heavy handed with decent speed and skill fighter Wilder face is going to be his first defeat and he will lay on the floor. Even his trainer admit that Harold Sconier KD him.
Imo wilder has better chin than fury or AJ and can punch harder than either of them and that’s what matters because both fury and AJ can and will outbox him . Anyway wilder will win by shattering british glass.
Wilder is a big puncher because he can’t box and he puts everything and anything he has into his punches but I don’t think he’s a monster puncher as some fans think , also Fury is not a master boxer , he’s OK , but just OK. Good boxer would outbox wallin and would land more than 6 punches per round against 40yo shot Wlad.
I've carried out extensive scientific research on this subject Punchers Bootleg D has fought In the ams Chakhiev Romanov Pros Ortiz Stiverne Breazeale Harrison could punch but he died of fright during his ring walk and didn't land a punch Punchers AJ has fought In the ams Majidov - Tom Little apparently said he's the hardest puncher he's fought which is high praise considering he's fought Dubois, Hrgovic, and Price. Cammerelle x 2 Timestamped This content is protected This content is protected Nistor Savon This content is protected Dychko Zhang Kuzmin Pros Wlad Povetkin Whyte ^^ their KO HL reels speak for themselves Ruiz - Parker said Ruiz hit him harder than anyone Parker Martin Breazeale Punchers Fury has fought Price in the ams Wlad Bootleg D So arguably the 3 hardest punching HWS of recent years Chisora Tyson Fury aka Gypsy Squad aka Coke Squad Down x 2 against Bootleg D, one of those times very heavily, and was also dropped by non punchers Pajkic and Cunningham (albeit USS is CW Level so no shame there), and Firtha hurt him and made his legs dip. I've heard rumours of him being dropped in sparring too. Dillian White claims to have dropped him in the gym, David Price being one of them who I was informed by another poster the other day dropped him very hard in sparring Bootleg D aka Bum Squad Dropped, wobbled everytime he was hit (and even wobbled sometimes by air shots), and stopped by Romanov in the amateurs. Romanov even made his legs dance to two different genres of music at the same time (chicken dance and salsa aka The Chicken Salsa). Dropped at least 2 or 3 times and badly hurt in sparring by Wlad with big gloves and pillows on and this definitely happened and that's the best case version too. Wobbled and hurt by Eric Molina left hook Breazeale - hurt Bootleg D a bit prior to offering his chin on a platter to him Dropped by Dustin Nichols who'd had a bad camp and wasn't in optimum shape And he was ''dropped hard with only the bell saving him from being knocked out'' by Harold Sconiers and it ''took forever for his head to clear'' after he hauled his ass off the canvas and the bell came to his rescue. The footage for that fight has vanished from existence but a reliable source who shall remain nameless informs me that only the master copy of it survives which is buried deep in Al Haymon's vault in a secret location down a mine somewhere in Alaska Ortiz hurt him and had him out on his feet before the bell came to his rescue in that one too. Bootleg D is lucky he kept his chin down during the assault by Old Man Ortiz Anthony Joshua aka Robo Squad Wobbled badly bandy leg style and hurt and stopped by Mihai Nistor in the amateurs. He did finish on his feet but only because the ref rightfully waved it off He was also dropped by Dillian White in the amateurs and badly hurt by a left hook from him in the pros Dropped hard by Wlad in the pros but unlike Bootleg D never hit the canvas in the gym when they sparred each other And David Price dropped him flat on his face hard in sparring and he needed assistance to make it out of the ring Dropped x 4 and stopped by Andy Ruiz aka Obese Squad But AJ has fought the most punchers out of the 3 of them
You might be right and time will tell. And the other thing to factor in: once a chin is cracked, it's more easily cracked again.
Thanks comrade. I see myself as gypsy royalty and pretty much everyone on my caravan site views me as such too.
Even I am not a big fan of Wilder Everyone gets dropped at some point Wilder chine is not granite, but it's solid. Its just people talking sh£££. because it's wilder
