    Yep, not everyone is a prostitute like Kovalev, who agrees to come out as a zombie.

    The terms, eminently reasonable, were supposedly that Canelo would be allowed to rehydrate to 220lbs after a weigh-in which would take place three weeks before fight night, whereas Smith would be coming in at super welter and be imprisoned for a week pre-bout in an empty room with recordings piped in of Piers Morgan readings extracts from his forthcoming erotic fiction offering, Piers on Piers. Ducking is ruining this sport.

    also clenbuterol is now legal for Сuntnelo, and Smith can't even consume more then 10 grams of protein a day.

    So what now for Smith? Canelo doesn't seem overly interested in Saunders either so maybe it's time to make Smith v Saunders? Or are we gonna see more pointless voluntary/mandatory defences for both of them?

    And yes, John Ryder should be the WBA champ. A disgusting robbery he suffered.

    I need to hear what kind of shenanigans Oscar was trying to get away with before I criticise Callum on this.

    This seems very odd.

    I'm not going to go into his dubious win/loss or whatever you wanna call it for his last fight, but that notwithstanding, Callum had been very vocal regarding wanting to fight Canelo so why would he turn it down? Extremely bad terms possibly?

    How many fighters accept a first offer?

    So Smith refused a rehydration clause mandated by the Light Heavyweight “champ” along with Canelo’s hand-picked judges? Sorry to hear it. I’m sure Canelo will pick an equally skilled opponent and not insist on any special rules to give himself an unfair advantage.

    I can quite understand it Smith dont want that Vegas corruption. He knows out there Ginger is 3 points ahead before the first bell rings. Heck everyone has seen GGG robbed twice there. Shows exactly what Ginger & Fishnets are when they turn down fight III at The Mecca of Boxing MSG. Theyre afraid the judges wont be" available" lol;

    Can only assume Canelo insisted on some stupid clause then. If not then Smith is an idiot for turning it down.

    I'm not arguing against the presence of Las Vegas corruption, but did you see the Smith-JOhn Ryder fight? That wasn't in LV and it was way more of a robbery than GGG-Canelo I.

    I'd like to hear more about the terms before I slag Smith. May have been an ridiculously low ball offer, with crazy terms. Anyway, turning down a first offer is good negotiating.

    I agree Ryder was robbed blind. Vegas started the blatant corruption its spreading all over now. Do you believe Oscar Fishnets would give Smith a deal in which he got an even break ??

    Smith will regret this if it’s true. Personally don’t feel he is the best Super Middleweight in the world.
