Fury IMO is actually kind of average on offense, its his elusive defense that is vastly superior to Wilder. For a big dude he can slip punches like few big guys have ever done. He uses everything to his advantage on D. He knows distance very well, but his whole career has shown he isn't one to throw a lot- he wants to minimize getting hit I got it! But when that happens it lessens his chance of beating anyone up, rather he outpoints them.
Wilder's power would give him a chance against any heavyweight in history, though against granite-chinned elite fighters it would be extremely slim
He should probably mock someone of note out first before we make this declaration. So far, he had fought one world-class fighter in Fury--one sick, denuded world class fighter--and failed to do so.
Wilder is a dangerous fighter, dropped fury 2 times, of course he has a chance get a KO. Though I am leaning on Fury by UD.
If I remember right, it ended in a tie. Hopefully the ending is definitive this time no matter who wins.
If we are all honest I think you will find it was actually Hughie Fury that clearly won that fight. Shades of Ali hasn't even dropped a single round of sparring against Tyson, and everything Tyson does in the ring comes from Hughie. Tysons two biggest strengths are his elusive ability to back pedal and avoid all confrontation and to also humiliate his opponent with a very light wrist flick to the face (but only as a last resort). A perfect Fury round is one with no punches but a lot of shimmying, tongue poking, and show boating. You will see that he hasn't mastered these skills yet to the level that the Hughie Hammer has. Hughie can keep a clean sheet of no punches per round and if he ever has to use his wrist flick, it is far, far lighter than Tyson's making it all the more devastating in terms of him humiliating the opponent. Basically Hughie is the pinnacle of boxing skills and wins every single round.
