I have both for GGG, non negotiable.
And the other one was on a heavy drug regimen in both fights.

2-0 to Golovkin. I feel he won the 1st fight by 3 rounds and the 2nd fight by 1 round. The draw is a clear robbery but i could see a draw in the 2nd even though my card had Golovkin winning again.

Not surprised to hear that from a person that thinks rounds in boxing are won by feints

That's funny because I didn't argue rounds were won by feints.

Most on here scored Canelo's defense to Golovkin. As in thinking Canelo slipping and dodging jabs was actually Canelo getting his head snapped back.:eyebrow2:

This is pretty much how I feel. The first fight kinda sucked, with Canelo backpedaling the majority of the fight scared to exchange (granted, when GGG got Canelo to the ropes he too was more tentative than we’re used to seeing him). Canelo landed nothing of consequence the entire night. A draw (never mind 10-2 for Canelo by Byrd and this shadow111 freaktard in every single Canelo thread) was always ridiculous.

The second fight however was a great fight. A lot of back and forth with both men dominating at different points. I’ve never seen either fighter hurt (GGG to the body early, Canelo getting knocked around late) as much as they were in this one. A draw certainly isn’t out of the question, but taking the belts from an undefeated champion on a record title-defense streak was weak. We KNOW they weren’t letting the second one also end in a draw, so Vegas gifted the cash-cow the win.

I had GGG 8-4 in the first one and 7-5 in the second. Wouldn’t be mad at 7-5 and 6-6, though.

How do you expect to be taken seriously with a comment like this? Canelo rocked GGG several times in the first match. Canelo rearranged GGG's face with massive uppercuts in the middle rounds that GGG walked right into, and he also landed some well placed body shots which were way better and cleaner than anything GGG landed.

Nothing wrong with a draw in what was demonstrably a very close match. Canelo won the early rounds, GGG then made his comeback in rounds 5-9 despite getting lit up with some well placed uppers and big counter shots, then Canelo finished strong in rounds 10-12. Calling me a freaktard for pointing out what happened is laughable.

You don't have to have it as wide as Byrd had it to see how effective Canelo was at setting traps for GGG and outboxing him.

2-0 GGG, although the second one was close and I can understand how people could reasonably have it for Canelo.
