Yeah, I know. But I was pissed, I got robbed of an underdog pick when Jack Reiss stopped the Perrella match with one f***ing second remaining when Bryant was well ahead on the cards. The reality is he stopped it after the bell should have sounded, Bryant was dropped with 8 seconds left, he made the eight count, that was it, the round should have been over, Jack made him walk for about 5 seconds and then waved It off, at least eight seconds after the bell should have sounded. I'm still enraged. Hell even Russ Anber agreed with me on Twitter about it.
Seriously all of you look at this bull****, am I right? The bell should have sounded 5-8 seconds before it got waived off. Use the clacker as a starting point. This content is protected
Haven't seen this, but stopping a fight "because the fighter isn't fit enough to continue" when he doesn't have to continue, has always been a hot topic. Everyone remembers the JCC vs Taylor 1 and Bute vs Andrade 1 controversies where one got stopped seconds before the end of the 12th, and with the other a lot of boxfans wanted to have the fight stopped seconds after the end of the 12th, because he was bad in shape (and probably more because the ref was clearly partial). After watching it, I totally agree with you here. This should have gone to the cards, as Parrella survived. Ramos won the fight, but Parrella should have won the decision (the sport/game of boxing).
He was well ahead on all three cards, 88-83, 88-83, 87-84, even with the two KD's, Perrella would have still won a MD.
I was so annoyed I did a thread on it. The Perrella/Ramos/Reiss Debacle: How The Hell Can Someone Win By TKO, When The Match Is Over?
This year is such a disappointment... If we put aside Fury vs Wilder, not a single big name has a scheduled BIG fight, not even Canelo.
Sadly these top guys only fighting once or twice a year max isn't great for the fans or the sport imo. Seems to takes months to negotitate a fight and when they do finally make it,it ends up being 6 months down the track

I am almost embarrassed to write this (lol) I never in my life thought Id be more into MMA than boxing.... but, while I love boxing more, it seems like a wasteland of matchups at the moment wheras MMA has so many more potential and actual matchups happening currently, that for me its odd actually paying morr attention to mma than boxing at the moment. Sucks lol.
