It makes me laugh that people actually take Hearn seriously. The guy is known for getting salty, bitter and throwing tantrums when fighters dont sign for him.

Hughie Fury is with Eddie Hearn and he might have heard and told something. But I believe Hearn is playing into Fury's hand and against Wilder. In case Wilder wins, there will be rumours about Fury having gone through a bad camp which will question Wilder's victory. Won't work though. I think people don't believe those "what happened in the camp" stories anymore.

    Excuses, Excuses, Excuses.

They have started already and these rumours don't just give Fury an excuse if/when Wilder knocks him in to another dimension they also suit Hearn, Hearn is predicting a Wilder win but he will still want to make a huge domestic fight with Fury.

So it's early promotion and damage control, so if and when Fury fights AJ after a Wilder defeat, Hearn can spin the old "well, we said before the fight Fury had a dreadful camp, but this time against AJ he is 100%".

These rumours are spread deliberately and with one eye on the future.

We will see if/when Wilder knocks him out.

And maybe not directly from Fury, but the narrative will be spun.. new trainer, bad camp, wasn't 100%.

Fury fans will be unbearable, they won't accept defeat, they won't stop banging on about bad camps and other issues.

    well won’t be from me.

Fury took his undeserved draw on the chin when it was announced, especially when emotions were running high and adrenaline pumping

I been thinking about how Fury would deal with a loss, and I've always thought... pretty well. It's not the gypsy way to cry after a fight, but rather share a handshake and a pint.

He won't make excuses. Others might.

he would have retired had he lost to the like of wallin I reckon, out of sheer pride.

however if he puts a good account of himself and is put down for the 10, I fully expect him to press for the 3rd.

Especially after how the 1st played out

It looks like it was more serious from Peter and Hughie's side, as they didn't take it well with Tyson leaving Peter. I remember before Hughie's final eliminator fight against Pulev in 2018 Tyson tweeted something like "Good luck cousin, you can do this" but Hughie or Peter never wished him luck or say anything before his fight against Wilder which was just a month later, so it looks like Tyson got over it but they didn't ?
