Just my opinion. Fury has the better win (Klitschko), but I prefer Joshua’s overall record. But if Fury wins this weekend, or would have got the decision in the first Wilder fight, id have him above Joshua at no.1.
I tried to create the list based on current ability, overall record, wins, titles. Whyte has a good record, but hasn’t won or even fought for a world title. I think many above him are better boxers, but fair enough Whyte is probably tougher than most. If I made the list again today after reading some other opinions I’d change several things.
As it's a "current" top 20 list as the title says, past records are not as important as current two, to three year records. Which is why for me Khan is way to high on the list. He's pretty much semi retired and hasn't had a meaningful win in a long time. Taylor deserves to be much higher up on the list, certainly top 5 IMO
I think that’s a fair way of looking at it. Klitschko on Fury’s resume is the best single win in terms of achievement but AJ has the far better body of work.
No Patel No Party No, that was a good read and I like the list, I can't say I agree with it but it's a good read with good reasoning nonetheless.
