Don't know if anybody on here has watched RING IQ BOXING TALK you tube channel, but I would recommend it to everyone who loves boxing. He made a fantastic video outlining the criteria he uses for his p4p top ten list.so I thought it would be interesting if we TRIED to create the British p4p top ten using his criteria...its by no means perfect but I honestly think it would give more factual answers to the question than opinionated answers to the question. criteria as follows. *TITLES HELD *TITLES UNIFIED *TITLE DEFENSES *SKILLS DISPLAYED *QUALITY OF COMPETITION *DIVISIONS CLIMBED *OVERALL TRACK RECORD *NO FIGHTER COMING OFF A LOSS QUALIFIES *NO FIGHTER ABSENT OF A WORLD TITLE QUALIFIES If anyone is interested in this check out RING IQ BOXING TALK'S video's its impressive. I will make mine in due course but it will take time for a Glaswegian buckfast drinker to do so
I like the sound of it. One thing I did notice is the coming off a loss criteria. The pool of talent isn’t as big in UK as worldwide obviously. For example, AJ to not be on the p4p UK list last September would not be accurate in my opinion.
Yeah that's a silly criteria. We are supposed to want the top guys to fight each other, which means someone has to lose. They shouldn't be thrown out of p4p lists for that.
