Holy, Mancini, and Gatti were such crowd pleasers..You never really see a boring fight from anyone on this list, but to me these 3 stand out

Nobody showing any love for Nigel Benn. He was just wild and he loved a tear up. I'm just giving him an honourable mention.

I f'n love Nigel Benn! He was like a middleweight Danny Lopez where he would get in tear ups with anyone, and was at his most dangerous when badly, badly hurt.

He's just in very good company here. I get a lot more enjoyment from Benn then Corrales and Gatti though.

    Saad Muhammad
    Chacon/Lopez
    Gatti

In that order. Maybe Lopez had less “great fights” than the others (he hit harder so ended a lot quickly) but was always in a war of some kind.

Hard picks here. Great thread. If I was to rank them, I'd have it like this

    Bobby Chacón
    Saad Muhammad
    Danny Lopez
    Evander Holyfield
    Arturo Gatti
    Diego Corrales
    Izzy Vásquez*
    Nigel Benn
    Ray Mancini

*I haven't seen much of Izzy, I'm more than welcomed to be educated.

I'd throw some other guys in here too; Ortega, Basilio, Marvin Johnson, Tiger Lopez, Zaragoza, Fletcher ect ect. It's also criminal that only one of the Boza, Limón, Navarrete, Chacón group was mentioned.
