I agree with you on all this. I think Hearns would win. But that is why Floyd constructed a winning record so he could use this argument. Now anyone who has a loss he can say they were solved and he never was. The fact is they fought everyone and they were willing to fight.. He was not.

If you look at someone like Iran Barkley, in terms of ability, he's not even on the same planet as a guy like Floyd. Yet Barkley beat a guy who Floyd never could, because he possessed attributes that Floyd didn't have.

Floyd would never have signed to have fought Tommy Hearns.

To me, it's actually an insult for him to say that he'd have beaten him.

 

It wouldn't have been perfect had he have fought Hearns.

He fought everybody in his era why would he not have fought especially if it made financial sense to.
