I've seen plenty comments saying its 2 feuding families. Apparently 2 lads fought a close fight the day b4 and the losers family turned up to kick off knowing the other family wud b their.

England boxing need to get a handle on feuds kicking off at their events. There is no way I’d let my kids enter a competition if this becomes more common.

are they taking any action on this ?

    From England Boxing

Imagine if you or your family member has been training for years for this event with dedication and discipline and those morons have ruined it for you.

First thing I thought when I saw the thread title and the area of the country was "Travellers". What a shame that a bunch of mugs had to go and ruin something that is very special to many.

I've got a mate who boxes amateur and when he first started out he did a couple of charity fights. Lovely bloke from a nice family, by the end of the first round his opponents mates are all off of their seats hurling abuse at him and then, once they find out who his family were, they tried to get to them. I remember him saying that he spent half the fight looking to see if his family were alright. Wrong on so many levels.

They're just vermin, possess no social skills, lack class and don't know how to behave.
Imagine all the good kids and their families who were there and had to put up with that shite.

I see that the rest of the championships are in Birtley's gym only boxers and coaches ! Great that at least the boxers get a chance to become national champions very sad that their family and friends can't watch them except on YouTube!
