How come you never get booted? When others do 1 thread after the other it is called spam or trolling. Why are u immune? Is there a little nepotism going on here?

I hate to overlook Benitez but I'm gonna lean towards Arguello.

He did beat Palomino Cervantes Weston and dominated a Duran who fought at 154 before everyone else.

    I'll vote for Arguello.

He has the better resume hands down, and Nelson's performances were a lot more inconsistent than people seem to remember.

Basically, I'll take wins against Bobby Chacon, Ray Mancicni, Bazooka Limon, Boza-Edwards, and Olivares ahead of Nelson's scalps against LaPorte, Villasana, Ruelas, and an aging Gomez.

That said, Nelson probably has the best single accomplishment in finishing Jeff Fenech. Maybe, maybe not

Agree with everyone picking Arguello. A fight between them at either 126 or 130 would have been a classic though.

These guys were on the same level, but Arguello just beat more and better competition, in more devastating fashion, compared with Nelson.

They were not on the same level at all. Arguello was a higher level fighter than Nelson.

This isn't particularly close. Arguello was both better and greater.
