At higher weights maybe in comparison to a LHW RJJ, but at 130 I think Mayweather was pretty close to a 168 RJJ.

    I think that is ridiclious.

Of all of the fighters that have come and gone in the past 20 years, you single out an unbeaten two division champion to be the most overrated. I can't agree with you.

Whilst im not a fan i think this statement is nonsense, Calzaghe is clearly one of the beat SMW ever, hes not just "some guy".

I disagree, Mayweathers his own beast. He's a different fighter (hes better then RJJ, in some departments as well); and both him and Jones are a far, far, cut above Calzaghe!

At his early MW best Toney was around what Mayweather is body-wise, as a matter of fact the Mayweather of recently was probably slightly thicker.

He's only beat one guy that matters and it was a 43 year old semi retired fighter. On top of that he barely won. His only other two big wins are from kessler and lacy who neither one are or ever will be close to great fighters. the rest of his resume are filled with cab drivers and bar tenders.

Even on that basis, Joe Calzaghe still wouldn't quality as the most overrated fighter of the past 20 years.

I can see hagler giving Roy problems albeit Hagler's prime weight and Jones jr's green weight. I think Roy outpoints Monzon though in a tough fight. H2H don't really rate Jones here because he didn't spend much time there

    Agree at 168 100% #1 H2H

At 175: There are some that would give Roy big problems but not that many. I have him in top 5 H2H

I think an attacking Hagler could probably beat him or at least trouble him greatly, and the boxing version could give him problems as well with his southpaw jab. Jones was pretty close to his best here toward the end of his MW reign. At 154 he was green, at 160 he was developing into his prime, at 168 he was at his full peak.

I think Monzon's height, reach, and subtle pressuring style would get to Roy by the end of 15, though 12 is a tough call. Monzon's accuracy, timing and right hand were excellent, and his jab very efficient.

At 175: Foster, Spinks, Charles, Patterson, Harold Johnson, maybe Saad Muhammad, maybe Qawi, maybe Conteh, etc. Definitely the first 4.

Joe is too good a boxer and has a great chin so he isn't getting KO'd, but he is losing a wide UD
