Wlad mostly fought twice a year in his second reign, the only years where he competed three times was 2008 and 2012. In 2009 and 2011 he only fought once. So I don‘t see much of a difference to AJ tbh.

There is a difference Has AJ ever fought 3 times a year as champion? No, I doubt he ever will. Wlad did it twice.

AJ's resume is better than Wilder's or Fury's but let's not go overboard. He has one win over a top 10 man in shape and in his prime ( Parker ) and 1 loss to a top ten man ( I'll assume Ruiz jr was ranked in shape and in his prime ). For a legacy he really needs to fight the winner of Fury vs Wilder, and win it. Then he will have accomplished something. Until that point he's the type of champion who beat two old men for his most recognizable names.

As champion defending his title? No sir. He won the title from Charles Martin, who won the IBF belt when his opponent injured himself in round 3 and quit winning the vacant IBF title. Joshua's first title defense was Breazeale. The 2nd was Molina.

Did he target WBA 'regular' title and got infected with Charr/Oquendo inactivity curse?

Gassiev wasting prime years here. Don't know why he needs a full camp for Jerry Forrest.

It is entirely possible the Usyk fight broke him. He did not win ten consecutive seconds.

Possibly, didn't think Abel Sanchez's work in the corner was great either during the fight.

Still, 2 years is more than long enough to get over a loss imo. He should have stepped back into the ring by now.

As it should be. Make or break fight for Joyce I feel. Surprised he took this fight tbh but glad he has.
