Yes he was a reigning and defending champion when they fought. The only one that made a living collecting paper titles and immediately lost to the first legitimate champion he fought was Golovkin.

Look who has come running back.

Clenelo can have a third one and get whooped. Easy work.

Golvokin and me are cool with that babes.

    And still....the people's undefeated true MW champ.:boxing1:bananaride

Even Abel Sanchez said that Canelo deserved the victory.

And if GGG tied Hopkins' record than Canelo is a legit SMW champion when he beat Fielding.

Cant have it both ways son.

    I doubt it.

Vitali Klitschko, Alexander Povetkin, Tyson Fury, Lucian Bute, Roy Jones jr, James Toney, Fernando Vargas, Erik Morales are just a FEW fighters linked to drugs and their legacies are find and dandy.

    Only haters will hate.

The second fight I have no issue with. Golovkin was out worked and Canelo simply looked better and sharper.

Golovkin lost it as much as Canelo won it.

    Agreed.

I see Canelo scoring a TKO if they meet again.

Yup. Which is why a third fight is totally pointless; a cherrypick for Canelo, a cashout for Golovkin and some satisfied DAZN directors.

Canelo needs to firmly focus on 168lb or think about giving 175lbs a proper go. 160lbs is too big a weight drop for him now and would emaciate him.

    Agreed.

168 is thin, and I think Benitez beats him.

Really? You have zero knowing of Golovkin career. No one wanted to fight Golovkin, when he was in his prime and early 30.
Golovkin was trying to make big fights and wanted to fight the best, yet everyone out there ducked him for obvious reason.
No one wanted to fights him.
Canelo decided to fight him, when Golovkin ages, as well as everything stacked in his favor. As much as i liked Canelo, he lost both fights clearly. It wasn`t even a hard fights to score.
I don`t give a s**** what the judges said and how the record are. Golovkin is undefeated, and it should be to everyone who is unbiased and know boxing.
Holyfield got a drow in one side beating by Lennox Lewis, but everyone knows he lost that fight widely.
So just because judges screw someone, that doesn`t mean people will forget.
Wilder - Fury is the other fight, where every single one knows that Wilder lost the fight. You can clearly see that Wilder knows it too, after the final bell.
Canelo face tells the same story after both fights.
Tho i also blame Golovkin for the second fight. It was obvious what he is going to get, and was obvious that he can`t KO Canelo, who is not only a great fighter, but have granite chin as well, but Golovkin decided to sell his ****.
The move to appoint that joke of a coach Jonathan Banks as well is at very least idi***** decision and speak about $.

Stopped reading right there because I know I'm dealing with yet another fruitcake. Rather common for a Golovkin fan. If the likes of Leonard, Hearns, Duran, Hagler, Tyson, Foreman, Ali, Pacquiao, Mayweather, Hopkins....etc who were all absolute nightmares to face in the ring were all able to score serious fights against serious opponents, then Golovkin could have too. This "NO ONE WANTS TO FIGHT HIMM" nonsense will only deceive people with zero knowledge in the sport like you. All the fighters mentioned quickly above make Golovkin look like a journeyman in comparison based on both abilities and record.

Golovkin was happy fighting hopeless bums and had no reason to step up or force any big fights. He was making good money fighting hopeless opponents. Why take any risks?. He had idiots for fans who roared on his KO highlights on social media. Even his one and only serious opponent was carefully picked and he still lost.

Okay, who exactly in his category wanted to fight him at his prime time ? What fight exactly he dodged ? Even his opponents were saying that everyone was scared of him.
And its obvious who the nutt***** blind fanboy is, by bringing Canelo matches and said officially its a drawn and a loss.
And compare different category from different era, is a great argument yeah ....
Just accept that you was owned from the very beginning of this thread and move on.
Poster like you deserve only to go in the ignore list, because they are trolls, but not a good ones.
