If Fury stops him, I'm going to say yes. I think Williams would have a similar record vs the opponents Wilder fought with one or two losses on his resume.

Ortiz would have beat Williams. First fight Ortiz anyway.

If we’re being honest, Williams was more like a supercharged hybrid of Wlad and Vitali Klitschko.

Not a big difference in terms of resume, but Ortiz and Stiverne were higher ranked than anyone Williams beat.

Big Cat never got the strap.

Waldo was the dominant heavy for a decade.

One of these things is not like the other.

There are a lot of guys who might have had a similar record against that list. Doesn’t mean they were just as good or fought the same way. Wilders chin and power is significantly greater than Williams in my opinion

And they were also old. Wilder should have one loss on his resume.

Yep. But Williams had several. And a still developing Terrell is not on Fury's level.

At his best Terrell would be an interesting match-up for Wilder, though. Ernie's jab was almost as long as Wilder's, but with a lot more snap.

    Ehm?
Wilder is 42-0-1 with 41 KOs, while Williams fought (and lost) four rounders at 28 wins. Guys on the debut followed, while the LHW Satterfield put him to sleep. I don´t even see him going 42-3 if we extrapolate the losses he accumulated...

Mendoza, does this mean you will give Wilder credit if he wins, or will you simply shift the goal posts and say Fury is garbage to cover your tracks?
