What the **** are you talking about? Have you ever actually seen Forrest? No one is scared of him. Especially not Gassiev. When Washington KO's you cold, that's just sad. And oh look, with a flush hook, just like the ones Gassiev likes to throw.

I know Franklin isn't a particularly good prospect, but I thought Forrest beat him pretty clearly, so off of that I thought this was a reasonable test for Murat given time off and new weight etc.

Rumour seems to be that Gassiev couldn't get sparring partners. No idea how true that is, though I've seen the guy fight so I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case haha. Hopefully it's only a delay of like a month or something. Just getting him with ANYONE will do at this stage

    Wtf are you talking about?

Gassiev is good enough to be the man in most divisions. Hes better p4p than half the top guys in any of the 17 weight classes.

    What the heck?
He is going to be out for two years now...
whatever 'perfect prep' he needs to dispose of some journey man?

It's not like he needs to make weight anymore.

At least he has time on his side, but this is worrying.

If he was good enough he would be fighting, what injury does he have to put him two years out of the ring?

Plenty of fighters out here fighting with numerous injuries.

    - Fury fighting with excess skin and broken ankles
    - Dillian Whyte fighting with broken hand and broken shoulder and bruised ribs and morbidly overweight
    - Wilder fighting with broken hands
    - Bakole injured his arm DURING a fight, and still fough Michael the Bounty Hunter
    - AJ fought Povetkin with Flu.

    And so on...

Where's Murat's heart and balls? Two years is a long time... is he banned secretly?

Right. Backing out of a fight you are confident you will easily win happens all the time

Because he did well at cruiser? Sorry that's hardly enough to say he's a top p4p fighter

I liked Gassiev a lot and hoped he'll do well at HW, especially given his power, but he's derailing his career.
