Wilder should do what he did in Ortiz 2 fight, wait for the momentum. In the first fight his right hands came too obviously and too often, probably because he expected Fury to be in bad shape and he would finish him quick. He lost quite some steam towards the end. I don't really know what Fury should do. Going for the KO can actually get him KOd. I like what Ben Davison explained recently in a youtube video I saw. He should occupy Wilder's right hand by faking jabs and hooks with his left hand. Defending himself from Wilder's right hand by hiding the head behind the shoulder seemed to work well in the last fight. Maybe he should even go for the inside fight. Anyway, Fury will come up with something nobody has estimated in the end, lol. I imagined myself, what if Fury copied Wilder's style and went only for the 1-2 combo trying to land the right one. I've also thought all along that it's a 50/50 fight as for me, both of them are overrated by their Uberfanboi fan base and I also include the like of Joshua and Whyte in that statement as I feel that the Heavyweight scene, although not the worst doesn't hold a torch to the heydays of the likes of Lewis, Holyfield and Bowe. Neither Fury or a wilder have beaten prime, top of their game Heavyweights yet and would still need to beat the Whytes, Joshua's and Usyks of the world to have any real lasting legacy. It would be nice if people would just calm down a bit and offer up some decent, unbiased opinion.
I don't disagree with you. Who could they beat however that you would consider a prime top of their game HW? Fury has the best win in the division, his dethroning of Wlad. Who else has a better win than that? Andy Ruiz over Joshua maybe? I am not defending their body of work by any means, and Wilder's resume is beyond atrocious, but the pickings are indeed slim.
