I have the Plant in this one, too slick for the Plank!

ODLH reckons that Plant wont be offered another chance at Canelo if he doesnt accept this one. Might think again if he has the WBA and IBF!

The Plank and tesco Joe will run away from the fight claiming "we don't need him, he dont sell a ticket, he on another tv network etc etc" they duck him for their lives

The Plant will stem the flow of a fast start by Plank, blossom in rounds 4-6 before chopping the plank down in the late rounds.

Plant just seems to get better and better, I don’t see him beating canelo or the plank but I’d like to see him try

Good fight. Hope it happens and surely it would mean Saunders vs Canelo is done too.

Plant all the way, Smith needs to go up to 175

Yes very true we'll probably see him against someone like Denis Douglin next after he got destroyed against Ryder. He'll just be waiting to cash out.

Smith has gone from being very overrated to very ndderrated since the Ryder fight. Plant has gone being underrated to very overrated aince Smith Vs Ryder.

I'd back Smith heavily against either Plant or Benevidez. Jacobs would provide a much tougher test than these two. BJS is the most talented out of 5.

I personally don't see what's so special about Smith tbh. He throws a jab, a 1-2 and moves around in straight lines. Ryder exposed him badly smashing him up on the inside as Smith's jab was very ineffective against a man with a brilliant inside game and Ryder's defence was superb.

Smith reminds me of Jarrett Hurd. Tries to bully people with his size but is all over the shop against guys with good inside games.

Pretty much this, Smith is dangerous though with his power but when he's been taken the distance or against better opponents where he's been taken rounds, he's been a bit exposed regarding his skills and repertoire. For me he just can't mix it up enough, doesn't help also he moves in straight lines often when in a tougher fight, head movement becomes non existent etc. All the negative traits of a JG fighter.

I do think he's better then the Ryder fight showed but it also highlighted all the weaknesses people have looked over. KO victories always create hype, I always look at a boxers overall ability.

It's not a coincidence imo that fights against Rebrasse, Groves, the kick boxer lad and Skoglund he hasn't looked special and he's dropped a lot of rounds against those 4, considering he's meant to be a special fighter according to some.

Good fighter, good champion, you can't switch off against him cause of his power but he is overrated.

Why does he never say he wants to fight Plant, Benavidez or fight one of the LHW champions.

It's either Canelo, Saunders and Jacob's and two of them are career middleweights! Jacob's isn't getting any younger now either. I don't think Jacob's will be a decent SMW either.

He's meant to be the best in the world supposedly, yet seems to have zero desire to challenge himself. Won the WBSS well over a year ago now!
