Fury with Wilder's power? The only problem is if the boxers got power they would start to change their style. Who wants to go 12 if they can go only 2?
No Wlad was pretty hittable a fast moving boxer could always have a chance, Ali knew how to set up his shots far better than Haye could.
Changing Fury`s style would be a good idea because he rarely throws a 2 after a one, with power he might follow up some jabs with his cross.
Maybe but he leaves himself open to counters if he does that. I do think that uppercut we talked about when he ducks would be a good thing for Wilder to mix up. And I do think Fury will try to land something more this time or try to. I think it is a little talk, but sometimes he can convince himself and then leave himself open. He avoided Wilder's big punches for the most part, but even fight his style he was knocked down a couple of times. Rematches are never exactly like the first so I think it will be different.
Benn could be outboxed and so could Bruno, he didn`t follow up his jab with the right cross often enough.
No most top fighters throw a great 1-2 the cross actually prevents counter jabs hitting you, Wilder caught Fury with a lot of counter jabs.
power would change the fighter. He would not fight the same. What happened to Michael Nunn when he knocked out Kalambay. It almost ruined him rather than helped him.
Norris was very easy to hit and gung ho at that stage of his career he corrected this style in his rematch with Brown after getting stopped.
Nunn didn`t try to knock out Barkley or Starling though so I don`t get your point in both fights he tried to box and used a lot of movement v Barkley.
He stood still more for Barkley and for Starling and Starling hit him a little but was too small to do any damage. With Barkley he stood and tried to swing and Barkley hit him enough in that fight even landing a nice left hook at the end of round one I think it was on Nunn. Nunn was a big middleweight so he take it, but he was in my mind a much more fluid fighter on his feet before Kalambay. With Roldan, he had no choice but to fight since Roldan was wild and unpredictable. Ray Leonard against Lalonde made Ray think he could punch hard, yet he the punch he knocked him out with was on the break.
