So if Wallin would have beaten Fury would you have considered him champion?

If this would've happened. IF that would've happened. If this guy hadn't retired. If that guy hadn't come back.

    If, if, if.

WHETHER you believe Fury is the champion or you don't believe Fury is the champion, the winner of the fight Saturday between the #1 rated undefeated heavyweight and the #2 undefeated heavyweight will be named the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION and will be presented with the Ring Championship belt.

They are the top two heavyweights. They are fighting tomorrow.

    APPRECIATE THE GODDAMN MOMENT. Christ.

You can argue someone shouldn't have been champ 40 years ago, you can argue someone shouldn't have been champ last year ...

But Saturday night the winner will be named the World Heavyweight Champion.

So quit your bitching. Seriously. It's draining.

I've not bitched once so I don't know what's brought on this emotional response.

You were going on about the importance of 1 vs 2. I said Wlad vs Povetkin was 1 vs 2.

Then you mentioned Holmes as the champ, but I pointed out he hadn't met your criteria.

You now go on about if if if, did you get this excited for every fight of Fury's comeback? Because by your reckoning each of those fights was for the championship surely? In that case why is this weekend any different?

I hope you've enjoyed all of Fury's fights since his comeback as they were also all for the Dubblechin World Heavyweight Championship.

You are getting more stupid by the post. I honestly can't take it anymore.

For the ONE THOUSANDTH AND LAST TIME THIS WEEK, whether you believe Fury is the champ now, or you DON'T (and Ring doesn't at the moment), the #1 rated undefeated heavyweight and the #2 rated undefeated heavyweight are fighting on Saturday.

And the winner of this #1 vs #2 matchup will become the NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION.

    Got it?

Doesn't really matter if you don't, because it's going to happen tomorrow.

And I had nothing to do with it.

Feel free to watch Joshua-Ruiz II, instead, if that'll help you get through the weekend with your feelings in tact.

    Gotta go.

I watched Joshua vs Ruiz 2 when it happened and unfortunately Joshua took a decision, but what does that have to do with this thread?

You are making a big deal about this fight, but then failing to justify why it is a big deal when you are questioned about it.

You mentioned Holmes, you mentioned he became the champion by defeating the previous ring champion, you insisted that was a big deal, yet you didn't give the same credit when Fury was fighting Wallin for some reason.

So no, I don't get it.

Congratulations to Tyson Fury ... THE WORLD Heavyweight Champion.

Two-time RING champion. Winner of all the heavyweight belts - RING, WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO ... Never lost any of them in the ring.

    30 wins. 0 losses.

One of the most ferocious men to ever step foot in the ring. A great champion and a great character for the sport.

Saturday night I felt like I was watching Ali-Foreman. I fully expected Wilder to knock out Fury early (like everyone thought Foreman would do to Ali). I was wrong. Fury turned the tables and scored brutal stoppage, dominating and stopping the wild-swinging all-time great puncher.

It was a night in boxing history no one will ever forget. I watched the fight with friends and we all agreed it was a special fight.

That's how World Heavyweight Championship fights are supposed to be.

Great night to be a fan of the sport. I love the heavyweights.

And now we all know who the real WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION IS.

    The arguments can stop.

TYSON FURY ... is the UNDISPUTED KING of the heavyweights.

Why haven't Ring evelated Fury to status of Champion?
