At 31 years of age and somewhere in the region of 6”7-6”9, is 19 stone 7ib that bad? I mean 19 stone when you’re 6 foot tall like Ruiz is obese, but he really should be knocking about around the late 18’s to early 19 stone at that size. I’m hoping he’s put on muscle mass rather than pie and chips, although if he has, people are gonna start suspecting that he’s on the juice again.

I’m scared for Fury - he’s miles to heavy and could be a slow target.

Wilder looks like a tank - much like he did against Stiverne.

    Wilder by brutal KO

Fancy fury....but the injury rumours are causing some doubt. Hes pretty heavy. Talks of ankle problems. Trying to knock wilder out in 2. Sugar hill talking about no fighter going in injury free etc. Its a bit of a worry. If fury goes to knock him out early....i think he probably has been/is injured.

Its an easyish fight for a fit fury. Just needs to be fitter than he was the last time. Wilder couldnt get anything off on him till fury tired...due to the lay off. They just had to bring him in fitter and sharper. Not sure banging on weight to go head to head with wilders a great tactic. He could win it....but hes giving away his advantages of being the taller, longer reached much better boxer. Not sure anyone would do that unless there is an injury issue. Especially guys like sugar hill that knows what hes doing.

my mates were there earlier and pretty high up...have a feeling a lot of brits have gone out without tickets. They have and we’re going to buy on the night hoping prices go down.

Just watched the replay on ITV. God, Wilder is woeful. I was dead set on a Fury win again but now seeing the weights it throws some doubt in the mind.

Let’s see how it plays out early on. Wilder is pretty passive usually in his fights early on against better opposition. The first six rounds against Ortiz were boxed at a snail’s pace, both men were basically walking. I expect the same from Wilder early on here and for that reason I don’t think the weight on Fury is going to be that problematic. If he really is going for an early KO the extra weight is a plus.

You’ve got to remember that Wilder definitely was wary of Fury’s Power last time. He definitely felt it and was probably surprised. There is a reason why he didn’t rush in and throw the kitchen sink when he had Fury hurt.

    “Anthony Joshua wildlife protection”
    Anthony Joshua animal welfare donation”
    “Fury lobster fake news”

Wilder being fairly passive against Ortiz last time out may well have been part of his strategy - let the older fighter let his hands go, lower his stamina and then go for it and also Ortiz hits considerably harder than Fury so Wilder had to be a lot more cautious in both those fights.
He can't afford to be overly cautious and give away rounds tomorrow, Tyson will be on his game and letting the punches flow from the first bell and TF has excellet stamina unlike Ortiz, Wilder needs to be on point and looking to impose himself straight away.

I can't find the video on youtube but there was a clip of Fury with his top off beside Sugar Hill and he looked in the best shape he's been in since the comeback. At 273 pounds, doing lots of weights and pull up's etc, that is a beast of a man. Has the weight made me more confident? Absolutely not. But Wilder at 231 is mental as well.

As I keep saying, I don't know what the hell is gona happen but I'm sure these men are coming to hurt each other! The extra weight of both men has purposely been put on to inflict pain. We have ourselves a heavyweight classic.

Wilder is heavy but it’s hardly ‘mental’ heavy. Since becoming champion he’s been 226, 228 (twice) and 229, so 231 is hardly crazy.

Tyson’s two best performances came at 247 and 256. There’s absolutely no reason to change what he did last time for this fight, but for whatever reason a change has happened and it’s seventeen pounds of additional weight.

I fully expect that if he loses an imperfect camp and obvious issues with weight to be raised as mitigation in the same way those saying Ruiz played ‘a blinder’ with his weight for Joshua II suddenly changed to him simply being fat.
