Fury’s lip is already split. One jab and that’s popping. Some roughhouse tactics with the head on the inside and that eyes marking up around the scar tissue. Rumours of ankle and elbow problems and I think Fury knows the clock is ticking tonight

May have been a cold sore on the lip. Didn't notice it in an interview a few says previous and sparring was surely wrapped up by then.

Can't believe Fury is once again being written off.

He is the truest fighting man in the heavyweight division, always on the road as the underdog fighting the best of the best.

The man lives, breaths and eats situations like this.

"If you're looking at muscles...Anthony Joshua. If you're looking at KOs...Deontay Wilder. But if you're looking for greatness..."

Today he's going to become a 2-time world heavyweight champion.

I agree that a stone for someone his size won’t make a massive difference. I just don’t understand the logic, he schooled him last time when not properly fit. He could have done the same and even stopped him using the same tactics and weight as last time. This coupled with the trainer change has got me worrying now. Davison spoke so much sense and was very switched on tactically about the fight on the BT rundown show.

This is the first time he’s employed a nutritionist in a camp apparently. I think this is a more comfortable version of Fury weight wise. At 18 stone 2ib, he looked like he was getting roughed up against Wallin, and didn’t look like he had the power to get him out of there. I’m aware that I may just be being over optimistic, but 273ib just doesn’t worry me. I don’t want him back pedalling all fight and flicking out the jab...I want to see him holding the centre of the ring, slipping the big right hand and countering with a left hook with his feet planted. I appreciate it’s a different weight class, but we’ve seen so many examples of what we expect in a rematch to be completely different from the reality. Canelo v GGG 2 springs to mind...we all thought Canelo would back pedal against the big hitting Golovkin...but he surprised everyone by holding the centre of the ring.

I really genuinely believe this, and I’ll hold my hands up in morning if I’m wrong...but you’re going to see Fury fight Wilder on the front foot, going after him. I think Fury will stop him...but even if he doesn’t, you will see a front foot fight tonight.

Then Big John Fury hunts down Tony Troll and gives him a bare knuckle fight with a 4 year old gypsy girl

I know what you’re saying and I do believe he can still stop him but I just think it’s a bit too risky, when he’s proven he can win the other way. They’d have some nerve to rob him again. I’d agree about the weight against probably any other heavyweight, as you say he is 6 foot 9 and is in his 30’s now but I just think it’d be safer to box and move again. I suppose he doesn’t want to risk getting caught and not getting up this time. I was just assuming he’d be fitter and sharper this time so if he did fight the same way he’d be less likely to get caught.

It’s a fair point, mate. I think fighters have to evolve throughout their careers to keep being successful. We’ve seen it with Joshua, we saw it with Klitschko. I think Fury may be aware that the style of the last few years as reached its sell by date. Wilder got to him and so did Wallin (although the cut made it worse). His success against both fighters came when he went on the front foot incredibly. He can still be herky jerky, throw the feints, switch stances etc. It’s more risky not changing his style imo.

He was asked after the weigh in about an ankle problem and he said he injured both ankles but it was at the beginning of camp and won't matter in the fight. He called it an unnecessary accident.

Turning 31, standing at 6’9, a decade of training camp wear and tear after taking into account a less than healthy lifestyle, the herky jerky style was never going to age well unless he kept fighting the Tom Schwartz of this world. Front foot Fury is more a reversion back to his earlier style of boxing. Has he the chin for it at elite level is the question? No questioning his heart and bottle but he’ll have to be perfect with his tactics tonight

Reading an article there where Fury's camp manager was talking. He basically said it's the first time Fury has been extremely disciplined with food etc in camp. He said Fury used to run out and buy fast food etc and drank a lot of diet coke. They've basically cut out all distractions for this camp and he said Fury has sparred amazingly. Granted he's going to say those things but I well believe the diet part.

I think he's trained and ate better than ever in this camp and I can't wait to see how he fights tonight.

Andy Lee in Boxing News spoke very highly of the camp and in particular the effort Tyson has been putting in and how strict his diet has been.
