Which out of these three had the best rear uppercut? AJ also features on this vid, fans underrate his uppercut greatly:

The bolo punch , the shovel shot , the corkscrew uppercut.

Foreman and Froch struck guys down with those shots as well

What a weird synchronicity. I watched this video yesterday.

Anyway, I would also mention the bolo punches of Kid Gavilan and Ceferino Garcia.

“Rear uppercut” is that another made up thing like the “philly shell” that dumbass hipsters have come up with to pretend there is some archaic tactic that has been hiding in plain sight for years...

Actually, a few of the best posters here are in that demographic, so I overgeneralize a bit.

Millennials are like 30+ years old.

    You're thinking of Gen Z.

And I hate 'check hook' too.

:( I've used check hook once or twice.

It's something easily understood across generations so ... Meh ... I am in the mid 30s now so I guess if the shoe fits.

It`s just harder to land and needs great technique, it`s only called a rear uppercut because there`s also the lead uppercut too.

He wasn`t as accurate with that punch as these guys were with the rear uppercut and he threw the uppercut/hook with his lead hand not his rear hand.

Oh right. I didn't actually watch the video, I just automatically assumed that it was called the rear uppercut because its thrown from around their arse level.
