It could be like Roy Jones. Once Tarver shattered his ego, it was over.

Damn man you are a bitter loser.. This is about Fury winning the rematch of a fight which was stolen from him. Wilder has nothing but a punchers chance, Whyte, Aj, Ruiz and probably several others would beat him. He is/was the most protected HW of all time and had to give Fury a re-match as he clearly lost the first one against Tubby McCokehead

Yeah, well Jack, the vast majority of people have equilibrium issues when their eardrum gets busted, hell I had them when I had a ****ing ear infection. One size doesn't fit all.

Wasn't there a rematch clause something and 3rd fight was already set? I remember reading such news. Hard to tell what's what - too much noise nowadays.

Wilder did land some good shots early on, but there just weren't enough of them. And Fury was landing big shots himself and more of them. I did see some jabs to the body by Wilder as well, but they didn't seem to slow Fury down whatsoever. Whereas when Fury would land body shots they would hurt Wilder.

I mean this was what I was looking at going into the fight, could Wilder up his workrate / activity, and what happened was what many said would happen if Wilder tried to land more. Well he landed more 1-2s early on but then got caught by Fury and hurt badly.

Respect the hell outta Wilder. Being a warrior isn’t only about how much pain you can dish out, being able to take it like that and not quit is the true definition of a warrior to me. Still just as big of a fan of Wilder as I was before the fight. I just hope he’s alright. Excited for what’s next

I think he will be gun shy after this. Which won't be a good thing for him because of his style.

Wilder would have to agree to no rematch, doubtful, the 3rd fight is already a done deal so Fury would have to agree to give Wilder Step-Aside $$$ if he wanted to say do a Mega-Unification Fight against Joshua if the $$$ was too big to refuse!! Throw enough $$$ around to Wilder and Pulev and Usyk to Step-Aside and anything's possible though!! Fury's Powder Puff punches would likely KO Joshua so he'd be running and jabbing, would probably be a stinker of a fight with a Biased Referee breaking them up constantly if Fury got close enough to hit him with Hearn running the show... BUT if Hearn agreed to allow his Meal Ticket to fight in Vegas or New York it'd be a real fight with no Shenanigans about Juicing and Backroom Deals behind the Scenes! Well, at least not as much!

20 yrs of mending folk is my experience, blood can come from anywhere that has a blood supply, ear drum is like skin of a drum it gets hole or tear in it, it does not have a copious blood supply to leak out, plenty of the outer ear and lobe does have that qualtity of blood supply.

As i said i'm not saying eardrum not damaged merely the amount of claret leaking was not from eardrum itself.

I don't think you can say that Wilder would have been KO'd had the first match gone beyond 12 rounds. Yes he should have lost the decision but Wilder never seemed to be in any serious trouble. Fury was the guy who was in real trouble when he barely made the 10 count in the 12th round.

I have a feeling that the burst eardrum will become Wilders version of the hurt little toe that Haye fans blamed for his loss to Wlad.

His fans should stop making excuses.
