He still showed far more heart than AJ did. It took the greatest heavyweight in the world to finally beat Wilder, AJ got his **** pushed in by a stumpy waddling obese man. The only difference is one man, actually quit. And yes AJ quit.
Dont forget that Fury is not the puncher Ruiz is. Underrated power yes but he doesnt have the combination speed up close. 1. Fury 2. Joshua The rest.
Clearly, that's why featherfists like Tony Yoka and Joseph Parker KO'd Dimitrenko quicker than Ruiz, and Ruiz took Liakhovich the distance. I have zero evidence Ruiz hits harder than Fury. Nor do you.
Ruiz is a better combination puncher, but Fury especially in there tonight had far quicker pure hand speed.
Wilder had a very carefully crafted career. His initial 4 or 5 title defenses were as soft as anything I have seen. Lot of hometown fights against guys nobody had heard of. They babied him too much and it was shown in the first Fury fight and tonight. He had no clue what to do in there.
Thing I've always liked about Fury.. Always proves the haters wrong, always has throughout his career. Gotta give the guy credit where its due, he's been a very under rated fighter by many that fail to see how good and intelligent he is in there. Bring on the undisputed all British affair please
Absolutely agree. Wilder has a way stronger will and has a better punch resistance. For sure Ortiz hits hard.
