You know the drill, the man who got stopped by Fury vs the man who gave him a competitive fight, who wins?

Good measuring stick for both men honestly. I have no idea how Wilder bounces back from this.

In a word, Wallin. Wallin is a big southpaw with good fundamentals. Remember when Wilder fought little blown-up cruiser southpaw Szpilka? Took ten rounds.

    Wallin is no bum.

I'd pick Wallin, but you never know with Wilder. Wallin can score 11 rounds and then get knocked out. Wallin's chin is not so checked.

I fancy Wilder just because Wallin doesn’t seem to get people out of there and then he gasses. He did this with Breazeale, still won nearly every round but took his foot off the gas in the last few got caught with a few punches. Be a fun fight though and difficult for both.

Wallin is tough, good fundamentals, decent chin

But not enough power to keep Wilder off him, and not elusive enough to avoid getting violently KO’d

    Wilder mid-rounds KO

It's a change of tack from the anti-Fury brigade. It's partly because they all picked Gassiev to KO Wilder (and Wallin), therefore Wallin is now a better win for Fury than Wilder!

None of them would have much confidence in Wallin winning if the fight was made, unbeaten Ortiz was a more difficult southpaw and if Wilder can land on a backfoot Fury, he can potentially land on anyone on any given night.

A better question is; how many of Joshua's opponents would Wallin beat? Give Wallin home + A-side advantage as Joshua had and I think he beats everyone Joshua beat save Wlad and maybe Povetkin, plus he doesn't lose to Ruiz. Whyte is Joshua's 3rd best win, Whyte even had home advantage and he ran a mile from Wallin.
