I think they have the potential to rule the Alabama heavyweight scene.

 

Wlad has 64 fights and fought about 30 guys that were legit opponents when he fought them. Wilder has 40 fights, and has fought 2.

 

30 is a bit candid, its more like about half that, including 5 losses. But still way more wins than Wilder.

Having said that, we ought not to compare midcareer with end of career.

If we compare same point in career (both age about 31) wilder is about level with wlad, with both having a major title and defending it a few times - but without wlads horrible losses when he overreached by stepping up against middlers.

However if wlidler wants to stay level with wladdie then he needs a unification win soon too.
