Hats off to Tyson I had Wilder as a favourite believing he had underestimated Fury in the first fight but Tyson got his tactics bang on. I like most in UK would like to see the Joshua unification bout but there a lot of negotiations which are around the DAZN having sold a subscription based model with no facility in USA for PPV ! Where there is a will there is a way however .There is a strong perception that Matchroom and AJ have dictated the financial deals too much in their favour and that is coming back to haunt them , whether they like it or not Fury is the A side Now and as such at very least is Worthy of a 50:50 if not 60:40.

I would actually be in favour of a bit of government intervention. The UK needs a lift after years of debate and uncertainty with Brexit. A huge sporting event held here could provide a bit of that. Dominic Raab is a huge boxing fan. Hopefully a few petitions gather steam and they are 'encouraged' to make the fight here. There's plenty of wealthy people here who can help put up the cash.

Agree though, Sunday morning sucks. This really has to be 10pm Saturday night UK time.

I wouldn’t trust Raab to be able to tell Joshua and Fury apart never mind organise the biggest sporting event in the country since Euro 96 and possibly since hosting the World Cup.

Also, there is zero chance the government finance it. The tories are bad but they’re not ‘lets withhold a hundred million pounds of NHS/schools funds to stick a boxing match on.’

Why is this ‘coming back to haunt them?’

I’ve no doubt both sides will make claims as to their perceived financial standing.

He's actually a huge boxing fan so probably could, but I don't like the guy. No, not suggesting the government finance it directly, just support having the fight here and put pressure on the promoters.

I haven't had a great deal of sleep so need probably sounds a bit ridiculous. Really enjoyed last night though, excellent fight. Fury really surprised me.

If you want pressure on the promoters you wanna bring someone in who they will all listen to, someone with a bit of the fear factor. Brian would get the deal over the line.

Fighting wilder is a bit like playing chicken running across the train tracks in front of an oncoming train. You could get away with it 99 times, but slip once, catch your show lace in the track and bam baby goodnight.

So yeh predicting a wilder k.o is not stupid. Last time out fury beat the count by a second. If he had lost would it have been stupid to predict he would win. Of course not its fine lines.

And as confident as everyone will be that fury can go into a 3rd and do the same again there's always that chance that he gets caught or does a ruiz and thinks he has won before he gets in the ring doesn't take it seriously etc.

To be honest I sort of wrote him off and thought he’d be KOd in the first half of the fight.

Happy to be reminded about how little I know about the sport at times! Well done Tyson

He was different animal tonight, heavier, stronger and a bully.

John fury kept saying the first fight was too soon, tyson was too light, weak as a kitten from losing all that weight and now he was a different fighter at this weight.

Well he was spot on, fury did look a bit slower but he was sitting down on his shots much better and seemed to have a bit of crack. Pillow fists not quite anymore.

definitely 50/50 now. tyson is the undisputed king of the division, and has broken in America.

Wilder probably regrets not taking the loot to fight Tony Dosh now lol.

John Fury looked like a raving lunatic pre fight in that sit around the table for BT. He said Fury would bully and stop Wilder within nine rounds. Haye said the theory was crazy!

Admittedly David Haye knows how to punch and fight and box and has admirable achievements in the sport, amateur and pro.

But his observations, analyses and his predictions fall more in the "DKSAB" category, more often than not.
He gets it very wrong a lot of the time.
