How can you say he's not at least number 2. He still has the best resume in the division. Wilder was never in the top 2 anyway. Bases on what, beating ortiz? Fury and AJ are 1 and 2. I don't care what order you put them, you can make an argument for both.
I personally think Ruiz is a good fighter. It was a disappointment that he didn't turn up in best possible shape for the AJ rematch, but the talent is there and I'm looking forward to seeing against Ortiz.
Can't see Deontay losing to any of Joshua 's opponents either. Fury might be as good as a prime Wlad for all we know. He just lacks the dedication to the sport. But I look through Joshua' s opponents, and apart from Povetkin, who never really held a world title. Can't see what all the fuss is all about. Breazeale was regarded quite highly before he was destroyed in 1. Parker lost to Whyte, Ruiz lost to Parker. I see a streak of B level , now possibly C level heavyweights right there.
