Nothing about Wilder suggests to me hes mentally weak. One fight isnt going to undue a career of believing in his power.

If his handlers feed him the right opponents again, he will simply KO them like he always has and they will build him back up to a big fight towards late next year.

Just hope the third doesn't happen

Sure someone from wilder or furys team said it would be Next year if it happened!

We have to wait another year for a winner to this sage to finally fight AJ. What then AJ loses the belt at some point, whyte left out in the cold and these fights never happen.

Wilder should just admit being a bum and walk away.

Fury and AJ in the summer, in one of the biggest fights in history.

Then give whyte the winner next year.

By that time another brit in Daniel Dubois will be ready to take over the throne.

If Wilder is in his worse shape (230+), then Joshua can land first. Even in that scenario, Wilder Iron-Will Emperor-ego doesn't allow him to quit on the ropes like Joshua did, Wilder was fighting with blood pouring out of his ears & complete loss of balance.

Lots of Journeymen have superior skills to many world champions & look flashy, but they lack the Grandiose element that distinguishes ATGs

Joshua true nature (life loving normal peasant) was exposed vs Andy Snickers Ruiz

Deontay Wilder Grandiose Emperor ego is notarized by blood pouring out his skull, you will fail to find an ounce of quit in Deontay Wilder in any moment of his life. All Deontay Wilder needs is a moment of Contact with any cranium & he will turn off that CNS switch.

I think if a 3rd fight happens. Fury does exaclty the same performance as the 2nd fight and wins via KO/TKO.

I dont see what Wilder can do differently. You cant become a better boxer at 34/35 years old.

Obviously the odds are now stacked against Deontay Wilder, but a primary part of being a legend is defeating all Odds. The reward of catching Tyson Fury with a clean Right hand, exceeds the life-time achievements of Billions of peasants.

He'll keep trying but his head went down big in the rematch, looked like a dog with his tail between his legs
That was actually the first world class prime fighter hes ever fought, he got stopped by a man that outpoints all of his opponents, his power was not an issue today for Fury at 100%
NOW, hes gonna have to take fights to climb back up that they protected him from, the Whytes, Pov's, etc. He does it the right way he don't see a title again fighting other legit contenders, if theres favours involved then it'll be your route imo, picking his way to a title..

He has an immediate rematch option, a clocked right Hand that will send any peasant back to square one in less than a micro-second of impact.

Anything can happen with guys this size, but Wilder's confidence should be badly bruised if they fight again directly. He was bullied around the ring almost the whole fight, something like that is hard to recover from. And he's 34 so there isn't much time to rebuild if he opts to wait with a rematch.

    * Dog with his tail between his legs? Nope. Thats crazy talk, imo.

    * Has to take risky fights now? Nope. He can *easily* knock out 3 guys, and would still be a desired opponent for guys like AJ, Usyk or Ruiz late next year in what would be big fights.

So, I simply disagree with you.

It is what it is though.

Naz never quit in the ring. He quit outside of it.

Deontay Wilder is the hardest puncher to walk Earth

At his frame, he is still able to end an heavyweight fight with one punch

Naz at 5'03" was already swimming deep at 126, his punching power was combination punching power in the same category as Pacman or Valero. MAB neutralized his ability to land more than one punch, the same way Mayweather reduced Pacman to single landing punches (ineffective flyweight single punches)

Deontay Wilder average clean single right hand hits the maximum tolerance of the CNS of any human. That is the bottom line...

Why would anyone talk about rematch, when this was the rematch of a fight Wilder clearly lost the first time around, but he was gifted a draw ??!!!!
Its obvious that Wilder can`t box. If you look the fight carefully, Fury was open for a lot of right hand or counter punches. But for that you need proper skill set and timing. Every time Fury was going to do 1-2 i see it before he do it, because of his front foot stepping.
This was Tony Bellew tactic against Usyk, to counter him, everytime he goes on the front foot.
The only thing that Wilder have in his arsenal is his raw power right hand and he is able to land it constantly against B and C level fighters.
But the guy has not even have proper skill, technique and timing to do it. He is been able to hold for that belt, because he is allowed and they manage to dodge every dangerous fighter out there.
No technique, no skill, no good movement, no head movement, no good timing, no feints, just 1-2, that works against B and C level fighters.

He brings no revenue, he'll have to dip his toe in the deep end a bit more than they'll be comfortable with considering who he fought with the belt in his hands. What 3 would/could he fight to get him back in contention in your opinion ??
He was very shy, he was a bit shocked imo with this Fury, couldn't dent him and was bullied about the ring, he looked down well before the finish

Personally I hope he doesn't walk away. There are exciting fights for him to be in but I think he'll get beaten badly again if sticks around now that the talent pool has deepened.

The most dangerous fighter for Deontay Wilder or any ATG from any era, is Tyson Fury

Deontay Wilder is going on fighting him a 3rd time, there is Tyson Fury then a steep step down in "danger"
