I disagree with almost everything you wrote. Wilder can come back and beat AJ, and he may beat him in the first round. I can understand your concern for Wilder's health, but in the end he didn't get knocked out cold and his corner stopped it before Fury could do any lasting damage.

You're right. The Worm is a 270 lbs freak of nature. Oh wait, you aren't talking about Harold Sconiers!

    To answer the original question.

    No.

Hes got 3-4 good years left in him and plenty of big pay days left.

Hes still a world class fighter, and still can take guys out with one punch.

He has PBC fights lined up: Kownacki, Martin, Ruiz, Ortiz again etc

I wonder what the guaranteed purse would be for a rematch.

On the comeback trail that wouldn't be so bad. Kownacki and Martin would be fine. Ruiz would actually be interesting.

How many can stand in his range successfully though...UMM I think its ONE so far.
Fury is miles above Wilder, but he is also Milles above most of the top Heavies as well. Losing to a Prime Tyson Fury will show in history No Disgrace at all. I am no fan Of Wilder but give the man credit, this is his 1st defeat & against, IMO, the top of the tree at the moment HW.
He would be competitive against Whyte,Parker, Ruiz, Dubois, Miller & might well beat Joshua & become a champ again, its not to hard to imagine. Does not mean I rate him, the competition is really weak apart from Fury & Uysk ofcourse ...thats another story...I guess Fury doesn't mind a few more easy Millions in the bank !
