He got beat, out boxed, out fought by a bigger and more skilled fighter.

No shame in that, I'd blame his team for all the cherry picks. He has never had a dog fight and now you see what happens.

He tried to cherry pick fury first time round and got a gift draw. This time fury was fighting fit, I'm not sure wilder can come back from a beating like that.

He shouldn't mess with the gypsy King no more. I bet he regrets not grabbing that dazn money now lol.

The busted eardrum clearly had a massive effect on his performance, Wilder landed a few decent shots and could sit down on them the first two rounds even though he still lost them. However it's hardly a freak accident, Fury busted that eardrum with a legal shot and after two fights is clearly the better fighter. I would like to see a 3rd fight but let it be in a year or so after unification.

Fury's plan was set in stone,
He conserved energy on his throne,
When Wilder donned his daft costume,
    Unwittingly he sealed his doom,

For come the fight his legs had gone,
Whilst Fury kept on coming on,
    If only Wilder's entrance had,
Been twice as short and half as bad,

Add this to the list of rematches Fury has had where he totally schools his opponent.

Wilder lost because he fought a better fighter who utilized a superior game plan.

So at the end of the day... What you are saying is Wilder only lost because Fury punched him in the head and caused him damage.

Kind of thought that was the point of boxing. Hit your opponent until you injure them to the point they can't continue, knock them out or out point them.

    Have you watched boxing before?

Wilder lost because Fury put it on him with educated pressure behind an authoritative jab, left hooks and right crosses. Wilder lack of basic fundamentals exposed him as he had no plan when Fury made his right hand power irrelevant. Fury also mauled him in the clinched as Wilder has no inside game.

Ok Rik just to be clear so we start off on the right foot...Are you saying that Wilder had this ear drum injury( which incidentally his trainer J says it was a "Nick/cut in the inside of his ear no mention of eardrum) before he entered the ring & thats why he lost the fight or it was sustained by Furys power plus boxing skills...waiting with baited breath friend.

Busted eardrum ****ed his balance, that took away his only chance of winning.. the right hand.

Can't transfer power properly from the feet/legs if your balance is ****ed. Forget about landing it, he can't even throw it properly.

Wilder lost because Fury gave him a rundown beatdown. Simple as that!

He really shouldn't fight Fury again. Without Bayliss to save Wilder, it would be literal suicide.

No need for a trilogy. This rivalry is finished. Wilder tried his best but just doesn't have enough weapons. Time for both to move on.

    The eardrum is fine.
