I predicted he'd get destroyed by Wlad. I was wrong. I predicted he'd get KO'd by Wilder in the first couple rounds. Wrong. I suggested he should retire after the Wallin fiasco. Wrong. I thought he came in to cash out in the Wilder rematch, came in heavy just to collect a paycheck. Wrong again. Time to pay the man some respect. Fury proved myself and others wrong too many times.
Expect one of Fury's drug test samples to mysteriously but ever so conveniently come back dirty very soon
Same here. Again, same for me. Here's when I thought he should cash out against Wilder now, and that was his plan since the ESPN deal. I predicted it to be about 50/50 but slightly for Fury to win this when Wilder looked like crap in his last fight too. When I saw Fury was heavy again I thought about changing to Wilder by KO.... that didn't happen. Still, my opinion remains that he never should have been in the Wlad fight in the first place, after getting busted for the Hammer fight, and weaseled his way out of a ban at the time he should have been banned. I have respect for his skills, but there's always that huge asterisk behind his name for me.
Scrolling down.. First post were I saw the word "WRONG" and thought... "Oh that's where I'm going and where I belong" I couldn't have been more wrong, wasn't close, in fact if you reversed my prediction it wouldn't go far enough. I was left speechless, completely speechless, incredible. Fury didn't just win, he won nearly every second of the fight, complete and utter domination.. I'll take my abuse like I always do and obviously I want to congratulate Fury, his team and family and obviously all of you that were telling me for months Fury would put a beating on Wilder.. you were right and I was completely wrong.
I was wrong as well. Knew Tyson was much more skilled but I didn’t think he could carry this much weight and still move so well. He was in control and dominant from the opening bell. Amazing performance by the big man. He fought his best fight on the biggest stage and gave Wilder a beating that he’s going to have trouble recovering from. I doubt Wilder accepts a third fight but if he does, it will be an even easier victory for Fury. The Gypsy King is truly king of boxing. Also, so much for Fury being a boring fighter. That fight last night was pure entertainment. After the first round, it was obvious who was the better fighter. Easiest fight of Furys career. He looked like he could have gone another ten rounds last night. I’m not sure any heavyweight could have beaten the Fury who showed up last night. He was a beast who moved well, used his size brilliantly and threw bombs, while maintaining his balance and defensive responsibility. A masterful display of the sweet science. Boxing has a new King, a Gypsy. Long live the King!
