Is it safe to say that Fury is the best HW of this generation?

He’s beaten Klitschko and now he’s beaten Wilder (twice arguably). I think its time people give Fury his dues. The guy had a rocky life outside the ring and now he finally came back to redeem himself and to prove to everyone that he’s the real deal.

No. The winner of Fury/Joshua settles it.

We definitely have to see Joshi vs Fury first. And then there's the whole Usyk dark horse issue.

This. He needs to get all of the titles and clean out the division for a couple of years that can be said.

foreman was old, Tyson was past prime, Lennox was the clear dominant heavy , ridiculous Bowe the most overrated heavy ever beat him up, lost to Moorer and god damn John Ruiz and finally Evander has 10 losses.

p.s fury would absolute tool Holyfield prime for prime

I think there should be a rule, you aren’t allowed to crown anyone the best of his generation until he’s through fighting. I’m guilty as well but it’s not fair to give out these awards until we have a larger sample size. Fury definitely is in the lead but the race is still in progress. He has a legit shot but he’s a little crazy and is one coke binge and a couple all you eat buffets away from being out of boxing. I hope he stays focused but you really never know.

Fury has one belt, once he gets all of them then it will be safe to say he's best HW of generation, he certainly is a very likely candidate however.

I see best of generation has to show level of consistency, Fury has to date not achieved that what with his lay off etc.

    No.

He needs to beat AJ, imo.

Furys only beaten Wlad, Wilder and Chisora.

AJ has beaten Wlad, Ruiz, Parker, Povetkin and Whyte.

They need to fight to determine who rules this era.

Usyk is still to have his say and Hrgovic to a lesser extent, not sure he is the new Vitali yet. Joshua isn't any better than Dubois or Joyce, all much of a muchness. I don't see them as Fury beaters although they'd give him problems.
