Could Fury beat the Liston of 1958-1960? He bounced Wilder up and down off the canvas last night, could he do the same to prime Liston?

Liston would probably beat Fury by decision and would violently KO Wilder in one or two rounds.

Fury is faster, much better footwork, 9 inches taller, better defense. I see a wide decision or Liston quiting.

Fury is really a new phenomenon. I don't think any boxer taller than Ali has footwork, ring intelligence and a defense as good as Fury. Something I never expected to say after seeing how average he was in his early days. He's clearly a student of boxing

Has there ever been a peaceful KO?

Fury could outbox Liston and do an Ali to the Liston psyche - Liston could drop Fury but I think what last night showed me was that Fury has a strong will - I am big on Liston's strengths but can not overlook his weaknesses

I think Fury gets the stoppage 7-10 rds

Mike Tyson ‘KOing’ Bruce Seldon was about as non violent, if not actually peaceful, as it gets.

Liston at his best is better then old Wlad and Wilder....but stylistically Fury can do what Ali did just not nearly as fast. Liston I feel will catch him eventually and he was ten times the finisher Wilder was. That being said if they fought ten times I’d give say it’s 5-4-1 in Listons favor. I’m starting to hold Fury in very high regards and if he can survive AJ (even if he doesn’t he’s still great imo) his stock will grow to top 5 for me...maybe not record wise but h2h.

Sonny is the MUCH better fighter, but Fury probably is too big.

He managed to K.O Seldon without actually landing a punch.

I don't think it's fair to call him faint hearted. He fought on vs Marshall with a broken jaw and with a broken nose vs Cleveland Williams.

I'd favor Liston but would give Fury an excellent chance.
